Setting up the Belkin USB-C™ 3.1 Express
Dock HD, F4U093

The Belkin USB-C™ 3.1 Express Dock HD, F4U093 is the all-in-one docking solution that connects all external devices and powers your computer up to 60 W with just one cable. This article will guide you on how to set up the Belkin F4U093.
NOTE: Before connecting the Belkin F4U093, please make sure your computer or laptop has the latest updates. Visit the device manufacturer’s website to make sure you have the latest updates.
Step 1:
Attach the applicable AC power cord for your country/region into the included power supply unit.
Step 2:
Plug the power supply into the wall then connect the power supply into the Belkin F4U093.
IMPORTANT: Before connecting the dock to your device, attach all of your preferred devices to the ethernet, audio, USB-A, HDMI, and USB-C ports. You may use the one rear USB-C port for devices, but the remaining front USB-C port must be left open to connect the dock to your device.
Step 3:
Once all devices are connected, plug one end of the included USB-C cable into the open USB-C port on the front of the Belkin F4U093.
Step 4:
Plug the other end of the USB-C cable into your device.
Step 5:
Turn ON your device.

  1. What do the different colors on the light of the dock mean?
    The light turns green if the host device is plugged in correctly and red if connected to the power supply but the laptop is disconnected or off.

  2.   Is there any setup software for this product?
    No.

  3.   Will I need to install additional drivers for my computer?
    No.

CONNECTIVITY

  1. Does the dock work when it is not connected to a power supply?
    No.

  2.  I f my laptop does not have an ethernet port, will I still be able to get online or connect to the network?
    Yes. When connected to the dock from your computer via a USB-C port, you will be able to connect to the internet via the ethernet port on the dock.

TROUBLESHOOTING

  1. What should I do if I’m not able to get any sound through the audio port or the mic on my headset to work when plugged into the audio port?
    You need to make sure the volume is set correctly and the correct audio output is selected in settings.

  8. Will the audio port work with stereo speakers?
    Yes. The audio port works with Stereo Sound (two speakers).

  9. Does this product allow me to have one monitor and my laptop screen as dual monitors or only mirrored?
    You can select the options to either mirror or use the laptop screen as a dual monitor with an additional monitor.

  10. What is the power output for the charging cable?
    It provides up to 60 W of PD to the host device.

  11. What video resolutions does this product support?
    The HDMI port on this dock can support a 4K monitor at 30 Hz.

  22. What happens if I plug an audio device to both the front and rear ports?
    The dock will allow audio to both the front and rear ports simultaneously.
