If you are experiencing no/low suction, follow these steps to resolve:

Remove tank
-
Turn machine on and place your hand over the black motor duct (black rubber square opening)
- Is there suction?
- Yes > Turn machine off and unplug it
- No > Visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us

Remove Water Tank Lid
- Look for any clogs or debris & remove it

Remove any dirt or debris on the red lint screen located on the tank

Remove water tank cap and screw back on making sure red gasket is on tip and not in the base of the machine
- If red gasket is damaged or missing, a new one should be ordered > Go to Parts & Supplies

Check Water Tank and bladder inside water tank for any damage or cracks
- If there is damage, a new tank should be ordered > Go to Parts & Supplies

Fill tank bladder with clean water

Reattach Tank Lid to the Tank
- First hook the front of the nozzle on the tank lid under the groove on the front edge of the bottom tank and secure the latch
- To ensure tank lid is secured to bottom tank, lift the tank handle to see if two parts detach from each other over a sink in case of leaking

Verify the red float flap door located on the underside of the tank lid is not activating prematurely and cutting off suction

Turn machine on test for suction
