Unplug machine
-
Take off the bare floor tool, if attached

Remove and empty the collection tank

Clean debris from the red rectangular gasket at the motor intake underneath the collection tank

Check for suction at the motor intake
- To test, turn machine on and place hand over opening
- If no suction, visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us

Check the collection tank for damage
- If damaged, a new tank needs to be ordered
- Clean dirt/debris from collection tank
- Take out and clean the foam filter

Remove floor nozzle
- Recline handle to floor
- Remove tank
- Lift upward on metal latch to free the floor nozzle
- Once metal latch is open, pull outward on upper part of floor nozzle and detach tabs from tab holes
- Check floor nozzle for damage
- If damaged, a new nozzle needs to be ordered

Re-attach floor nozzle
- Flip metal latch into open position
- Insert floor nozzle tabs into front edge of machine (gasket side up)
- Move upper part of nozzle into position against machine
- Flip metal latch downward to securely snap into locked position

Check for suction by pouring a small amount of water on a hard surface floor
- Water should be visibly going into the collection tank
- If still no suction, visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
