If the machine is leaking from the bottom:
- Unplug machine
- Remove the 1 handle screw and pull out the handle
- Firmly reattach the handle to the machine and reinstall the handle screw
- Carefully insert the screw straight into the machine, not at an angle
If the leak is in the area where the clean tank sits or down the side of the machine:
-
Remove the clean water tank
- Check that the rubber gasket is correctly attached to the cap on the clean/solution tank
- The rubber gasket may be lodged in the receiving area of the machine
- Rubber gasket can be removed using a pair of needle noise pliers or flathead screwdriver
- It needs to be attached to the cap or the solution tank will leak once placed into the machine
- If the machine continues to leak, please visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
