If your machine appears to be leaking, follow these steps to resolve:

Remove the clean water tank
- Does clean water tank leak whe removed?
- Yes > Check the tank for cracks or damage
- If damaged, order a new clean water tank > Go to Parts & Supplies
- No > Continue troubleshooting

Is the machine leaking from the Spray Bar?
- Yes > Remove the handle and reinstall
- Using a long narrow object like a chop stick, knitting needle, or thin screw driver, push the item into the Handle opening and pull the handle up to unlock and remove from the machine
- No > Remove handle

With the Handle removed, place the tank back in the machine
- Does it leak with the handle removed?
- Yes > Visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
- No > With the handle removed, push the trigger
- Does the white plunger on the base of the handle go down when pressed?
- No > A replacement handle should be ordered > Go to Parts & Supplies
- Yes > Reinsert handle
- Does leaking persist?
- Yes > Visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
- No > Great! Glad we could get you back to cleaning!
- Does leaking persist?
- Does the white plunger on the base of the handle go down when pressed?
