Turn off and unplug vacuum

Run hand along entire length of power cord, it should be smooth

Check plug for damage
- If either the cord (not smooth or exposed wires) or plug (prongs) are damaged, visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us

Check to see if outlet is working:
- Test this by plugging in a cell phone charger or small appliance
- If no power to outlet, test a different outlet in a separate room
- Reset circuit breaker if needed

Check Dirt Tank
- If full of water or debris the machine will power off
- See “Indicator Lights”

Empty tank and reattach

Overheating
- Machine has a Thermal Protector to protect it from overheating
- When the Thermal Protector activates, the vacuum will stop operating
- If this happens, turn the vacuum off, unplug it from the electrical outlet, check filters, and check for clogs
- After resolving reason for overheating, let machine sit for 30 minutes while unplugged
- After 30 minutes, the machine should power back up

If machine still does not have power, visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
