Unplug machine
- 
Lift off dirt container and empty dirt container
 - 
Twist the cyclone inside dirt container to the left and pull down to remove
- Cyclone and screen can be separated for cleaning by twisting to unlock and pull up on screen
 - Clean parts with soft cloth or brush to remove debris
 - When reassembling, the section of screen without holes should align with cyclone inlet
 
 - 
Take out foam pre-motor filter from compartment under dirt container
- Filter may be washed with water and mild detergent
 - Allow to air dry completely (24-48 hours) before reinstalling
 
 - 
Remove white pleated post-motor filter located next to pre-motor filter
- Filter is NOT washable and should to be replaced when dirty
 
 - 
With filters removed
- Plug in vacuum and turn machine on to check motor duct (underneath pre-motor filter) for suction
 - If no suction, visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
 
 - 
Unplug machine and disconnect hose from back of vacuum by twisting to the left to pull out of lower hose
- Insert broomstick through hose to remove any clogs
 - If hose is cracked or damaged, replacement will need to be ordered
 - Verify the hose inlet is not clogged
 
 - 
Disconnect lower hose access plate on bottom of the machine by twisting the tabs to unlock
 - 
Straighten lower hose and insert a broomstick to clear any clogs
- If machine still has no suction, visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
