Unplug machine

Push dirt tank release latch and pull out tank to empty

Grasp the tabs on the top of the dirt bin, rotate clockwise to loosen debris from pleated filter, and empty the debris over the trash
- This filter is not washable
- The filter may also be removed by pulling straight up and pulling out
- To put back in, align arrow on the filter with arrow on the dirt bin

Pull white hose wand from holder and unscrew hose end from Lift-Off capsule
- Remove any blockages from the clear hose where it enters the machine
- Push a broomstick through the hose to clear any clogs
- If hose is cracked or damaged, it will need to be replaced

Remove the stretch hose from foot assembly to access and clear blockages
- Once the blockages are clear, push hose back into place
- Ensure the stretch hose rib aligns with the slot in the foot assembly to capture the stretch hose

Unscrew the six screws from the bottom of the foot and pull tab to lift sole plate

Inspect the brush and belt for damage
- The brush should spin freely by hand and the belt should be intact
- If these parts are damaged, they will need to be replaced

If machine still has no suction, visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
