- Verify the cord isn’t wound or twisted unevenly
- Gently pull the cord out just past the yellow line
- Do NOT pull the cord out beyond the red line
- Untwist cord if necessary
- Retract the cord back into the machine
- Gently pull the cord out just past the yellow line
