Thank you for choosing the PowerXL Steam Cleaner. Before you begin, it’s very important that you read this entire manual, making certain that you are totally familiar with this appliance’s operation and precautions.

When using electrical appliances, always follow these basic safety precautions.

  1. Read and follow all instructions carefully.

  2. This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge unless they are under the supervision of a responsible person or have been given proper instruction in using the appliance. This appliance is not intended for use by children.

  3. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by Tristar in order to avoid a hazard.

  4. Do not leave this appliance unattended while it is plugged in.

  5. Do not open the filling aperture during use.

  6. The appliance is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage, or if it is leaking.

  7. Keep the appliance out of the reach of children when it is turned on or cooling down.

  8. Steam must not be directed toward equipment containing electrical components, such as the interior of ovens.

  9. This appliance must be unplugged after use and before carrying out user maintenance on the appliance.

  10. This appliance must be unplugged before cleaning or maintaining the appliance.

  11. WARNING: DANGER OF SCALDING If this symbol is shown on the appliance, hot steam is being emitted.

  12. Prior to plugging in the appliance. check that your voltage is the same as the one indicated on the product label.

  13. The main connection cable must not be tangled or wrapped around the product during use.

  14. Do not pull on the cord in order to unplug it.

  15. Do not use, connect, or disconnect the device if your hands or feet are wet.

  16. Do not use this appliance to clean chemical fibers or silk.

  17. To prevent windows from cracking in winter, keep the Jet
    Nozzle 12 inches/30 cm away from cold glass.

  18. Proceed according to the maintenance and cleaning section of this manual for cleaning.

  19. Unplug the product immediately in the event of any breakdown or damage and contact Customer Service using the contact information on the back of this manual.

  20. In order to prevent any risk of danger, do not open the device. Contact Customer Service if any repairs need to be performed on this appliance.

  21. Any incorrect use or improper handling of the product shall render the guarantee null and void.

  22. This appliance is designed exclusively for domestic use.
    In no case should it be used for commercial or industrial use? Any case of misuse or tampering with the appliance will void the guarantee.

IMPORTANT: Please make sure that your PowerXL Steam Cleaner has been shipped with the components that you ordered (some accessories may be sold separately). Check everything carefully before use. If any part is missing or damaged, do not use this product. Contact the shipper using the customer service number located on the back of this manual.

Instructions for Use

Before First Use

  1. Remove all the packaging material.
  2. Remove any stickers or labels from the appliance.

Using the PowerXL Steam Cleaner

  1.  Attach any accessories to the appliance that you want to use.

  2. Turn the Safety Valve counterclockwise to access the appliance’s water tank.

  3. Use the Funnel to fill the water tank with water (max capacity is 250 ml) and then turn the Safety Valve clockwise to close. Only use clean drinking
    water in this appliance.
    NOTE: Never attempt to fill this appliance with any detergents or other additives.

  4. Plugin the appliance. The Indicator Light will turn red, which means the appliance is heating up.

  5. When the appliance is ready for use, the Indicator Light will turn green.

  6. Press the Child Lock and the Steam Release Button at the same time to begin steam cleaning.
    NOTE: For materials that are sensitive to heat or humidity, test a small piece of material first to ensure the appliance does not damage the material.

  7. When the appliance is no longer releasing steam, open the Safety Valve and refill the water tank with water.
    NOTE: The Safety Valve cannot be opened when there is hot water boiling inside the appliance to create steam. You must first release all the steam by holding the Steam Release Button-down before opening the Safety Valve.

  8. To turn off the appliance, hold the Steam Release Button-down until no steam comes out of the appliance. Unplug the appliance and pour out any water left in the water tank. Let the appliance cool down completely before storing.
    NOTE: Never attempt to cover the appliance immediately after use. Do not leave the appliance near any heat source, and store the appliance in a dry area with good ventilation.

This product complies with European Directive 2012/19/EU on electrical and electronic devices, known as WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment), provides the legal framework applicable in the European Union for the disposal and reuse of waste electronic and electrical devices.
Do not dispose of this product in the garbage, instead, go to the electrical and electronic waste collection center closest to your home.

The PowerXL Steam Cleaner is covered by a 60-day money-back guarantee. If you are not 100% satisfied with your product, return the product and request a replacement product or refund. Proof of purchase is required. Refunds will include the purchase price, less processing, and handling. Follow the instructions in the Return Policy below to request a replacement or refund.
Replacement Guarantee Policy
Our products, when purchased from an authorized retailer, include a 1-year replacement guarantee if your product or component part does not  perform as expected, the guarantee extends only to the original purchaser and is not transferable. If you experience an issue with one of our products within 1 year of purchase, return the product or the component part for replacement with a functionally equivalent new product or part. The original proof of purchase is required, and you are responsible to pay to return the appliance to us. In the event a replacement appliance is issued, the guarantee coverage ends six (6) months following the receipt date of the replacement appliance or the remainder of the existing guarantee, whichever is later. Tristar reserves the right to replace the appliance with one of equal or greater value.
Return Policy
If for any reason, you would like to replace or return the product under the money-back guarantee, your order number can be used as the return merchandise authorization number (RMA). If the product was purchased in a retail store, return the product to the store or use “RETAIL” as the RMA.
Return your product to the address provided below for a replacement, which will incur no additional processing and handling fees, or for the refund of your purchase price, less processing, and handling.
You are responsible for the cost of returning the product. You can locate your order number at www.customerstatus.com. You can call customer service at 973-287-5183 or email info@tvcustomerinfo.com for any additional questions. Pack the product carefully and include in the package a note with (1) your name, (2) mailing address, (3) phone number, (4) email address, (5) reason for return, and (6) proof of purchase or order number, and (7) specify on the note whether you are requesting a refund or replacement. Write the RMA on the outside of the package.

Refund
Refunds requested within the money-back guarantee timeframe will be issued to the payment method used at purchase if the item was purchased directly from Tristar. If the item was purchased from an authorized retailer, proof of purchase is required, and a check will be issued for the item and sales tax amount. Processing and handling fees are non-refundable.
