Product Structure
※Notice: There are no other LED colors except solid blue, solid green, and blinking green, if it became blue with blinking green, that is caused by you touch the on/off button by mistake when you enter the pairing mode, please just ignore the blue light, only remember that blinking green light enters the pairing mode.
Smart Life App-Connect
Pre-check
- 1st time to connecting to Wi-Fi & phone, make sure the outdoor smart plug is connected to the same Wi-Fi (2.4G ONLY) as your phone connected.Dual-band Wi-Fi router- 2.4G & 5G, select 2.4G. After initially the setting, you can access other Wi-Fi or 4G/3G/2G cellular to control it
- Phone system: IOS 8.0 or above & Android V4.4 or above.
- Far away from wifi router or poor wifi will cause wifi connection drop.
Download the Smart Life APP
Search “Smart Life” on the App store, Google Play, or Scan the QR code on the User Manual and install it.

Register a Smart life account
Enter the mobile number or E-mail address to register an account with a verification code.
Connect the device
There are two network connection methods (Normal mode and AP mode).
Normal mode is the default. Users could tap the upper right corner to switch
the connection method to AP mode.
(Ⅰ)Normal mode
Step 1 Set Rapid Flashing Indicator Light (Pairing Mode)
- Pls plug the smart plug into the wall, and the color is blue
- Pls long press the on/off button for 5s or more, the indicator light will rapidly
Step 2 Tap” Add Device” or “+” Step 3 Choose” Electric Outlet”
Step 4 Add Device-Normal Mode
Long press the on/off button for 5s or more until the device’s indicator turn
into rapidly blinking green lights (2 times per second)
Step 5 Enter Wifi Password
Normal Mode, automatic connect to your home wifi, then enter Wi-Fi password
Step 6 Connecting
Step 7 Edit Device’s Name
(Ⅱ)AP mode
Step 1 Set Slow Flashing Indicator Light (Pairing Mode)
- Pls plug the smart plug into the wall and the
- Pls long press the on/off button for 5s or more, the indicator light will rapidly
- Hold the on/off button for 5s until the indicator light color is blue flashing. slowly flashing
Step 2 Tap” Add Device” or “+” Step 3 Choose” Electric Outlet”
Step 4 Add Device-AP Mode
After the light turn into rapidly blinking green lights, continue to long
press the on/off button for 5s or more until the device’s indicator turn into
slowly blinking green lights(1 times 3 seconds)
Step 5 Enter Wifi
For AP Mode, connect to the Wi-Fi hotspot named ”SmartLife” as shown in the
pics. Note: Some devices might have different hotspot names.

FAQ
※Not able to connect the smart product:
- Please kindly check if the product connects the power, turns on, and enters the configuration status (When the product turns on, long-press the on/off switch for 5 seconds, it will enter configuration status.)
- Please check if your mobile phone can connect to the Wi-Fi and have a strong Wi-Fi signal.
- Please make sure the Wi-Fi frequency is 2.4GHz. If the Wi-Fi network frequency is 5GHz, it’s not able to connect the smart product.
- Please kindly check if the Wi-Fi password is correct when you add the smart products to your device. (Note that case sensitive, punctuation and spaces.)
Please kindly check the above and make sure there is no problem and reconnect. If the connection still fails, please check the settings of your Wi-Fi:

Please enter the router’s setting page: First, turn off ‘SmartSet Up’ and ‘Parental Controls’ these two functions.

Wi-Fi setting of your router: The encryption method should be set to WPA2-PSK type, the authentication type is AES. Or both the encryption
method and the authentication type are automatic. The wireless mode cannot be ‘11n only’. -
Wi-fi name and password are recommended to be set to English letters + Numbers, no spaces, and special characters. Please kindly check the above and make sure there is no problem and reconnect. If the connection still fails, please check the settings of your Wi-Fi;

Please check if the number of access devices has reached the upper limit of the router. Try to turn off some Wi-Fi devices, restart the router and reconnect the network.

If the router enables wireless MAC address filtering, the device MAC should be added to the allowed device list to ensure that the router does
not prohibit the device from networking.
※Product is automatically disconnected/ reconnected during using, no response during operation, and response lag:
- Please make sure the product is under Wi-Fi coverage with a strong signal.
- Make sure the power supply is stable and the Wi-Fi can be connected to the external network.
※Can the device be controlled under Mobile 2G/3G/4G network? When adding the
smart device for the first time, the smart device and the mobile
phone must be in the same 2.4GHz wi-fi environment. After being added
successfully, the mobile phone is able to remote control the smart device
under 2G/ 3G/ 4G network (kindly note that the smart device should be under
wifi coverage with strong wifi signal).
