Get Started

Get ready
You’ll need your robot, charging station, and two edge-sweeping brushes. Set the other accessories aside for later.

Remove protector
Use the tab to lift the protective strip from your robot.

Attach edge brushes
Match the grey and green color codes and attach the brushes to the bottom of the robot.

Position charging station
Choose an outlet near an area with good Wi-Fi coverage.
Note: This robot is only compatible with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.

Plug-in charging station
Use the cord wrap for any excess cord so it won’t get in the way as the robot comes and goes.

Power on
Open the cover and turn the power switch to the ‘On’ position.

Charge
Line up the metal charging contacts and place your robot on the charging station. Charge for at least four hours before first use.

Complete set-up
Download the iRobot Home App to update your robot with the latest software and complete set-up.
Prepare Mop

Remove tank
Press the tank release button and pull it straight back to remove.

Fill tank
Add cleaning solution (optional), fill the tank to the top with water, and close the cover.
Important: Please visit the Help section of the iRobot Home App for a list of cleaning solutions that can be safely used in your robot.

Attach cleaning pad
Place the end of the pad plate into the pocket of the cleaning pad and secure the pad onto the plate.

Attach cleaning plate
Align the pins and secure the cleaning pad plate onto the tank.

Insert tank
Place the tank into the robot and you’re ready to clean.
Start cleaning!
Press the CLEAN button or use the app to start a mopping & vacuuming job.
