Assembly procedure

  1. Please read the instructions carefully prior to assembly!

  2. transport and storage shall only be carried out inthe protective packaging!

  3. Mounting location
    important
In the case of electro auxiliary operation the safety areas prescribed in VDE 0100 part 701 must be observed (at the heater side outside bath tub or shower area, socket and timer at least 0.6 m away at the side). Please also observe all local regulations.
    For LS010/LR010:
On single pipe systems, the electrical heating element can be built in without changing the connection geometry. On two-pipe systems, retrofitting is only possible when the connection geometry is changed. A T-piece is mounted for this purpose on the return pipe side for the electrical heating element. The connection location is altered by the T-piece when an electrical heating element is connected and mounted!

  4. inspect the package content for completeness and any possible damage! A1 Heater LS0 10/1 M or

    L Inclined base (LR010 / LR01M only)

  5. Have all tools at hand as required

  6. important:
check the bearing surface for adequate supporting capacity! Observe spacing rquirements: heater – side wall / room ceiling min. 50 mm! Drill by rotation and not impact in the case of low strength materials such as hollow bricks, lightweight or aerated concrete.

  7. Drill two horizontal dowel holes (top and bottom wall holder):
Drill two dowel holes each according to the table (I Technical data) and diagram (IV Drill hole spacing) at the top and bottom at a distance of „L“, ø 10 mm, depth 60 mm and insert dowels (G) in the drill holes.
    Danger to life !
Be careful not to damage any water or gas piping, or live cables when drilling!
**** Secure wall holder (B) and if necessary inclined base (L) [LR0 10/LR0 1M only] with screws (F) and washers (H). The slot for adjusting the wall clearance must hereby be aligned downwards.

  8. Allign the wall holder(B) horizontally.

  9. Mount the sliding component (c).
Insert the sliding components (c) in the wall holder (B) and insert the screws from below. (J)

  10. Secure heater
Press the heater against the sliding components between the second and third pipe from the top (c) and secure with retaining caps (D) and screws (i). In doing so, centre the heater in relation to the wall holders(B). Press the heater against the botton sliding components (c) drücken, mit Haltekappen (D) and secure with screws (i). Adjust the wall clearance and assure the heater is plumb before tightening the screws (J) und (i) to fix the position.

  11. Attach the covers (e).

  12. Screw in the vent plugs (K) at the top left .

  13. connect the heater at the water side with
