Introduction
Congratulations on choosing the H&A HASMS20 Studio Monitor Stands.The H&A Studio Monitor Stands are an ideal adjustable height stand to securely support and maintain your treasured audio monitors at the best sweet spot for home or professional studios. The 17-inch-wide triangular base offers stability and security while conserving space requirements of tight setup scenarios. The monitor sits upon an 18 square inch plate with a damping strip to minimize distracting vibrations. The base is adaptable to carpeting with spiked metal feet or smooth flooring with leveling rubber pads on the platform, reducing vibration and absorbing shock, natural to acoustical resonance percussion. The durable steel center column features large locking knobs and a safety locking cotter pin that insert into six preset holes, permitting the column base to be set to precise height in 3-inch increments from 36 to 54 inches. Safety Instructions
- Before construction, read all directions carefully.

- Tighten all socket screws securely before mounting your monitor.
- Do not power-tighten any screws, bolts, and knobs. This could damage your stand and strip the threads.
- Be careful to safely adjust height; do not pinch your fingers as you raise or lower the column.
- The maximum load capacity is 90 lbs.

Guide to Assembly

Grasp the Telescoping Column [2] upright with the Lock Knob [3] uppermost.

Line up the monitor mounting plate opening with the Telescoping Column.
- Place the opening onto the top of the column.
- Fasten the plate in place with the shorter Socket Screw Bolt [7].

The socket screw must be tightened carefully with the Allen Wrench l<ey [10].

Take the Triangular Base [5] and keep the bottom side up. Slip the longer Socket Screw Bolt [7] through the center
opening of the base. -
Take the Mounting Plate [1] and slip it over the long protruding Socket Screw Bolt [7].

Hold the Mounting Plate [1] firmly in position with one hand as you flip the Base over to mate with the Column’s threaded hole.

Tighten the Socket Screw Bolt [7] carefully with the Allen Wrench [10], taking care to be firm, yet do not overtighten.

Make sure all of the assemblies are correctly connected. Take the finished Monitor Stand and flip it over to rest on the Triangular Base [5].

Follow the same steps for the second H&A Studio Monitor Stand.
The Studio Monitor Stands in Use
All adjustments must be performed before setting up the Monitor Speakers on the Stands.
Height Adjustments
- Release the Locking l<nob [3]
- Select the height of the Telescopic Column [2].
- Place a Locking Cotter Pin[ 4] through the closest hole to the desired height.
- The Column [2] safely locks when resting on the Locking Cotter Pin [4]. Tighten the Locking Knob [3] to secure the Stand height.
Mount the monitors on the Stands
- Place the monitor securely on the mounting plate once the Stands are in place.
- Cable Guide Ties [9] are used to direct and tidy the speaker cables. Place the wires through the guide loops.
Level Spikes Stabilization to Stabilize on Carpeting
Many floor surfaces are uneven. By using the Leveling Spikes, the Stands gain
stability and balance for safety. Take special care to level on carpeted or
worn wooden floors.
- Turn the Stand so that the Base faces up.
- Unscrew the three Rubber Feet.
- Replace with three Leveling Spikes [8].
- Upright the Stand on the Triangular Base and adjust the Level Spikes according to your surface.

One Year H &A Limited Warranty
HEtA warrants to the original purchaser that your HEtA product shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for the period of one (1) year from the date of purchase (or delivery as may be required in certain jurisdictions), or thirty (30) days after replacement, whichever comes later. HEtA’s entire liability and your exclusive remedy for any breach of warranty shall be, at HEtA’s option, to repair or replace the hardware, provided that the hardware is returned to the point of purchase or such other place as HEtA may direct with a copy of the sales receipt or dated itemized receipt. HEtA may, at its option, replace your product, offer to provide a functionally equivalent product, or repair any product with new, refurbished or used parts as long as such parts are in compliance with the product’s technical specifications. Any replacement hardware product will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period or thirty (30) days, whichever is longer, or for any additional period of time that may be applicable in your jurisdiction. If the product has been discontinued, the warranty provider reserves the right to replace it with a model of equivalent quality and function.
This warranty does not cover problems or damage resulting from accident, abuse, misapplication, or any unauthorized repair, modification or disassembly, improper operation or maintenance, normal wear and tear, or usage not in accordance with product instructions or connection to improper voltage supply, use of consumables, such as replacement batteries, not supplied by HEtA, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
Except where prohibited by applicable law, this warranty is nontransferable and is limited to the original purchaser and the country in which the product was purchased. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, including a longer warranty duration that may vary under local laws. To start a warranty claim contact the HEtA Customer Service Department to obtain a return merchandise authorization (“RMA”) number, and return the defective product to HEtA, along with the RMA number and proof of purchase.
