WIRING SAFETY FOR UK USE ONLY
IMPORTANT
As the colours in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the
coloured markings identifying the terminals in your plug, please proceed as
follows:
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following
code:
Blue neutral [N] Brown live [L]
Plug Fitting Details (Where Applicable).
The wire coloured blue is the neutral and must be connected to the terminal marked [N] or coloured black.
The wire coloured brown is the live wire and must be connected to the terminal marked [L] or coloured red.
On no account must either the brown or the blue wire be connected to the [EARTH] terminal
Always ensure that the cord grip is fastened correctly.
The plug must be fitted with a fuse of the same rating already fitted and conforming to BS 1362 and be ASTA approved.
If in doubt consult a qualified electrician who will be pleased to do this for you.
Non-Rewireable Mains Plug.
If your appliance is supplied with a nonrewireable plug fitted to the mains
lead and should the fuse need replacing, you must use an ASTA approved one
(conforming to BS 1362 of the same rating).

- Keep the mains lead away from the hot body of the heater and ensure that it is not pulled tight between the socket and the heater.
- DO NOT use the heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower, a swimming pool or similar indoor locations.
- Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool before moving it from one location to another.
- DO NOT attempt to dismantle or repair any part of the heater. This should only be done by a qualified service agent..
- In the unlikely event the appliance develops a fault, stop using it immediately and seek advice from the Customer Support Team.

WARNING!

BEFORE YOUR FIRST USE:
- Remove your appliance from the packaging.
- Locate your appliance in accordance with the safety instructions.
- Plug the appliance into the mains supply.
- Your appliance is now ready for normal use.
Dispose of the packaging in a responsible manner.
USING YOUR APPLIANCE
- Ensure that the appliance is sited away from furniture curtains and the power cable will not cause a trip hazard.
- Unwind the Power Cord and plug it into the Power Outlet and switch on at the wall socket.
- To activate the heater, turn the Heat Setting Control clockwise. Turn it to the first setting for the fan function.
- Turn the Heat Setting Control dial clockwise to the second setting for low power (1000W), and to the third setting for maximum power (2000W).
- Turn temperature control dial clockwise to increase the temperature and when the temperature has reached a comfortable level slowly turn the temperature control dial anti clockwise until the thermostat indication light goes out.
AUTO SAFETY CUT OFF
The heater has a built-in safety device, which will switch the heater off in case of accidental overheating.
To reset the heater, follow the next steps:
- Turn the dials off.
- Unplug the heater and wait 5-10 minutes for the unit to cool down.
- After the unit has cooled, plug it in and operate normally.
WARNING:
DO NOT IMMERSE ANY ELECTRICAL PART OF THE APPLIANCE IN WATER SUCH AS MOTOR
UNITS OR PLUGS.
PLEASE SEE CLEANING SECTION FOR FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS.
CLEANING AND CARE
- Be sure to switch off power supply at the wall socket and disconnect the plug before commencing cleaning.
- Wait for the heater to cool down fully before commencing cleaning.
- ONLY Clean the body of the heater with a damp cloth.
- DO NOT ALLOW water into the appliance.
- Never use soap or chemicals which may damage the housing of the heater.
- Allow sufficient drying time before operating again.
- Clean the air inlets and outlets regularly with a vacuum cleaner (at least twice a year).
- When the unit is not in use. We recommend that the heater is re-packed in its original packaging and stored in a cool, dry place.
DISPOSAL OF THE UNIT
Appliances bearing the symbol shown here may not be disposed of in domestic
rubbish. You are required to dispose of old electrical and electronic
appliances like this separately.
