▶ Do not open the device. It does not contain any parts for users to service.
▶ We cannot accept any liability for damage or injury caused by improper handling or failure to observe safety instructions. Such cases shall void all warranty claims! We accept no liability for consequential damage.

▶ For reasons of safety and conformity (CE), unapproved conversion and/or modification of the device is prohibited.
▶ For indoor use only. Keep the device away from damp, vibrations, permanent direct sunlight or other heat radiation and excessively low temperatures.
Protect it from physical loads.
▶ The device is not a toy! Do not allow children to play with it. Do not leave packaging material lying around. Plastic films and small parts may become a dangerous plaything in the hands of children.
▶ This device can be used by children over the age of 8 as well as by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or a lack of experience or knowledge if they are supervised or are instructed on how to use the device safely and understand the resulting dangers.
▶ When controlling a device remotely or in an automated manner, it cannot always be ensured that commands will actually be carried out or the correct device status will be displayed in the app and on other Smart Home display devices due to external circumstances. This may result in damage to property and/or injuries to people.

Installation instructions

▶ Installation must be carried out taking into consideration the applicable regulations. Non- observance of the specifications may result in property damage and/or injuries to people including danger to life.
▶ Before connecting a consumer, observe the technical data, in particular the maximum permissible switching capacity of the relay and the type of consumer to be connected.
All load details refer to ohmic loads. Only load the device up to the specified power limit. Overloading may destroy the device, cause a fire or an electrical accident. Amongst other things, reliable switch-off of the connected consumer cannot be ensured.
▶ Devices with electronic power supply units (e.g. a television or high- voltage LED lights) do not present ohmic loads. They can generate inrush currents of over 100 A. Switching of these types of consumers results in premature wear of the device. Subsequently, it may be the case that the connected consumers are not reliably switched off.
▶ Do not connect devices that could cause fires or other damage by being switched on while unattended (e.g. iron).
▶ Always remove the device‘s plug from the adapter before you perform modifications to the device.

▶ Always route cables of the connected devices so that they cannot result in danger to people or animals.
▶ Do not use the device in socket strips or with extension cables.
▶ Do not use the device for disconnection from the mains. The load is not electrically isolated from the mains.
▶ Do not connect adapters in succession.
▶ The device is only de-energized when it has been removed from the socket!
Installation procedure
Plug the adapter into the socket. The adapter is now ready for operation. You can now plug in the desired electrical device.

Maintenance and cleaning

The device is maintenance-free. Have a specialist carry out repairs. Clean the device only after unplugging it from the socket using a soft, clean, dry, and lint-free cloth.
Do not use any cleaning agents containing solvents for cleaning.
