THE MAGNETIC 360° CHARGING CABLE AND APPLIANCE CONTAIN MAGNETS.

The magnetic 360° charging cable contains a magnet. Keep away from sensitive electrical equipment such as medical implant.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

This appliance must only be used with the magnetic 360° charging cable provided.

Unplug the magnetic 360° charging cable after use if used in a bathroom. The proximity of water may be a hazard even when the appliance is switched off.

For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA is advisable. Ask your installer for advice.

WARNING: For the purposes of recharging the battery, only use the Dyson detachable supply unit Part Number 372458 provided with this appliance.

Do not drop or insert any object into any openings of the appliance. If an object is inserted, do not use the appliance.

WARNING: Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.

BURN HAZARD: The flexing plates of this appliance will become hot and could cause skin burns while in use and immediately after use. Allow to cool before touching. Keep appliance out of reach of young children, particularly during use and when cooling down.

Do not leave the appliance switched on when not in use.

If the appliance is not working as it should, if it has received a sharp blow, if it has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, do not use and contact the Dyson Helpline.

Unplug the magnetic 360° charging cable once charging is complete.

The Flight-ready tag may become hot during use. Before removal, allow it and the flexing plates to cool down.

Always place the appliance on the charging dock or on the heat-resistant travel pouch on a stable flat surface. Always switch off the appliance and allow to cool before placing it into the heat-resistant travel pouch.

The battery is non-replaceable. If the battery is not working as it should or has been damaged, do not use and contact the Dyson Helpline for further advice.

Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the appliance outside of the temperature range specified below. Connect the magnetic 360° charging cable to an external power supply for charging the appliance. Charging improperly or at a temperature outside of the specified range may damage the appliance and increase the risk of fire. To ensure maximum battery life, the following is recommended:
● When not in use, the appliance should be stored between 18°C (64°F) to 28°C (82°F).
● The ambient temperature range for operation and charging should be 10°C (50°F) to 35°C (95°F). -
This appliance contains lithium ion cells. The battery is a sealed unit and under normal circumstances poses no safety concerns. In the unlikely event that liquid leaks from the appliance, do not attempt to operate the appliance, do not touch the liquid as it may cause irritation or burns, and observe the following precautions:
● Skin contact can cause irritation. Wash affected skin with soap and water.
● Inhalation can cause respiratory irritation. Seek immediate medical attention.
● Eye contact can cause irritation. Immediately flush eyes thoroughly with water for at least 15 minutes. Seek immediate medical attention.
● Disposal handle with care and dispose of in accordance with local ordinances or regulations. -
Do not use if the appliance is damaged or modified. Damaged or modified batteries may exhibit unpredictable behavior resulting in risk of injury. Do not expose the appliance to fire or excessive temperatures. Exposure to fire or temperatures above 60°C (140°F) may cause battery failure.

Only use this appliance for styling dry human hair. Do not use on wet hair. Do not place anything other than human hair onto the flexing plates.

CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cutout, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility company, or plugged into any socket where the electrical supply is unstable or likely to be turned off.

Terms and conditions of the Dyson 2-year limited guarantee
What is covered
- The repair or replacement of your Dyson machine (at Dyson’s discretion) if it is found to be defective due to faulty materials, workmanship or function within two years of purchase or delivery (if any part is no longer available or out of manufacture, Dyson will replace it with a functional replacement part).
- This guarantee can only be exercised in the country in which it was sold. What is not covered Dyson does not guarantee the repair or replacement of a machine where a defect is the result of:
- Damage caused by not carrying out the recommended machine maintenance.
- Accidental damage, faults caused by negligent use or care, misuse, neglect, carelessness or operation or handling of the machine which is not in accordance with the Dyson User manual.
- Use of the machine for anything other than the use it is designed for.
- Use of the machine outside of ‘normal use’ which is defined as more than two hours per day.
- Use of the machine for professional or commercial purposes.
- Use of parts not assembled or installed in accordance with the instructions of Dyson.
- Use of parts and accessories which are not genuine Dyson components.
- Faulty installation (except where installed by Dyson).
- Repairs or alterations carried out by parties other than Dyson or its authorized agents.
- Normal wear and tear (e.g. fuse etc.).
If you are in any doubt as to what is covered by your guarantee, please contact Dyson.
Summary of cover
- The guarantee becomes effective from the date of purchase (or the date of delivery if this is later).
- You must provide proof of (both the original and any subsequent) delivery/ purchase before any work can be carried out on your Dyson machine.
- All work will be carried out by Dyson or its authorised agents.
- Any parts which are replaced by Dyson will become the property of Dyson.
- The repair or replacement of your Dyson machine under guarantee will not extend the period of guarantee.
- The guarantee provides benefits which are additional to and do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

When registering your Dyson machine:
- You will need to provide us with basic contact information to register your machine and enable us to support your guarantee.
- When you register, you will have the opportunity to choose whether you would like to receive communications from us. If you opt-in to communications from Dyson, we will send you details of special offers and news of our latest innovations.
- We never sell your information to third parties and only use information that you share with us as defined by our privacy policies which are available on our website at privacy.dyson.com.
