’68 CUSTOM VIBRO CHAMP® REVERB
The ’68 Customs has become an extremely popular amp series for guitarists who
love classic Fender sounds along with tuneful modifications that resonate with
today’s players.
At just 5 watts, the original Vibro Champ was famous for classic Fender
tremolo, tube sparkle, and killer grind at a reasonable level. The ’68 Custom
Vibro Champ Reverb improves on this classic amp by adding a digital hall
reverb and using a larger 10” speaker for the increased low end.
These additions make this little wonder perfect for rehearsal, home recording,
and even small gigs.
- Modified Vibro Champ tube circuitry
- Single-channel with versatile tone controls
- One 6V6GTA output tube with a hand-wired socket
- Two 12AX7A preamp tubes
- Custom-made Schumacher transformers (like the originals)
- 5 watts output power
- 10” Celestion® Ten 30 3.2Ω speaker for more low-end response and increased projection than the original 8” speaker
- Fender DSP hall reverb
- Fender tube-driven tremolo (“vibrato”)
- 1968-style Silver Panel cosmetics with aluminum trim around silver-turquoise grille cloth
- Optional vintage-style two-button reverb/vibrato footswitch
- Optional fitted cover
