LET’S GET STARTED

Download the Vilo App
Download and install the Vilo App on your phone.
Add your first Vilo

Follow the on-screen instructions in the app to add your first Vilo and set up your Wi-Fi network.
Add additional Vilos
Add additional Vilos by tapping the “+” sign in the Vilo App and following the on-screen instructions. Repeat this process until all your Vilos are connected.

INDICATOR LIGHT GUIDE

Solid white light

  • Main router: Connected to broadband.
  • Sub router: Connected to the main router and signal is strong.

Flashing white light

  • Main router: Connection to broadband is intermittent.
  • Sub router: Connected to the main router but signal is weak. Try moving it closer to the main router.

Solid amber light

  • Main router: Ready for configuration.
  • Sub router: Ready to connect to the main router.

Flashing amber light

  • Sub router: Pairing and syncing with the main router.

Solid red light

  • System is starting up. This will take about a minute.

Flashing red light

  • Main router: Unable to connect to broadband. Follow these steps to troubleshoot:
    • Make sure the WAN/LAN port is connected to the modem with an Ethernet cable.
    • Make sure the Ethernet cable is securely plugged in and not damaged.
    • Check if the modem’s broadband settings are correct. If the Internet access method is DHCP, the router can directly access the Internet. If the Internet access method is PPPoE, make sure you have entered the correct broadband account name and password provided by your broadband operator.
    • Check if your broadband connection is working properly.

Sub router: Unable to connect to the main router. Follow these steps to troubleshoot:

  1. Move the sub router closer to the main router.
  2. Reset the sub router to factory settings.
  3. Make sure you have completed the setup process in the app.
