6. Notes on Camera Installation
Find the Best Spot for the Camera
Please install the camera 2-3 ( 7-10 ft) above the ground. The detection range
of the motion sensor would be maximized at such a height.
It is not suggested to install the camera vertically towards the moving
objects, otherwise, it may not detect the motion events or cause delay.
It is suggested to make the angle between PIR Sensor and detected objects more
than10 degrees.
The Camera motion sensor is much more sensitive to side-to-side movement
across its field of view than to movement directly toward or away from the
camera.
6.1. Mount the Camera Outdoors with the Screw Bracket
6.1.1. Please drill 3 holes based on the drill template. Make sure the installation position is at a thick wall made from hard materials such as concrete, brick, or stucco. Fix the bracket to the wall with the screws.
1 Screw Hole
6.1.2. Screw the camera to the bracket. Make sure the camera is stable against external forces.
6.1.3. Adjust the camera for an ideal angle of view to cover your desired areas.
