Read this Manual carefully before use
Important safeguards
When using this electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
- Read all instructions carefully.
- Make sure that your outlet voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on the rating label of the coffee maker.
- To protect against fire, electric shock and injury to persons do not immerse cord or plug into water or any other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
- Do not operate the appliance if the cord or plug is damaged or if the appliance malfunctions. Contact authorized service centre for repair.
- The use of accessories not recommended by the manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table counter, or touch a hot surface.
- Do not place on or near a hot stove or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- Do not use this appliance for any other than its intended use.
- Do not clean containers with cleansers, steel wool pads or other abrasive material.
- To disconnect, turn the control to “OFF” and remove the plug from the wall outlet. Always hold the plug, never pull the cord.
- Scalding may occur if the cover is removed during the brewing cycles. Be careful not to get burned by the steam.
- Some parts of the appliance are hot when operating, use knobs or handles.
- Never leave an empty carafe on the warm plate, this may cause the carafe to break.
- Never use the appliance if the carafe shows any signs of cracking or if the handle is broken. Only use the carafe with the appliance, use it carefully as the carafe is very fragile.
- This appliance must not be used by children aged between 0 and 8. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above if they are continuously supervised. This appliance can be used by and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or with a lack of experience and knowledge, if they are supervised or they have been instructed about the safe use and they understand the hazards which its use involves.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Do not let the coffee maker operate without water.
- Save these instructions.
- This appliance is for household use only y.
- Do not immerse in water or any other liquid.
Know your Coffee Maker
Before first use
Check that all accessories are complete and that the unit is not damaged. Add
water into the tank to the max level and brew water several times without
coffee powder, then discard the water.
Clean all detachable parts thoroughly with warm water.
Using your coffee maker

Open the lid and fill the water tank with drinking water. The water level should not exceed the maximum level marked in the water gauge.

Place the funnel into the funnel support and make sure the funnel is assembled correctly. Then put the filter in.

Add coffee powder into the filter. Usually, one cup of coffee needs one level spoon of coffee powder. This can be adjusted according to personal taste. Then close the top lid.

Place the carafe on the keeping warm plate.

Plug the power cord into the outlet. The LCD will display a “12:00” indicator that will flash.

Press the ON/auto/OFF button once, the indicator will be illuminated in red and the appliance will start working.

The brewing process can be interrupted by pressing the ON/auto/OFF button twice at any time during operation, and the indicator in it will be illuminated in blue, after about 15 seconds it will be extinguished. The appliance will continue brewing once ON/ auto/OFF is pressed again.
NOTE: You can take out the jug, pour and serve at any time, the appliance will stop dripping automatically. But the time cannot exceed 30 seconds -
Remove carafe to serve when finished brewing (about one minute after the coffee stops dripping).
NOTE: The finished coffee is less than the water that was used, the coffee powder always absorbs some of the water when brewing. -
When the process is finished and if you don’t want to serve immediately, the coffee can be kept warm on the keeping warm plate. The appliance will automatically shut off after 40 minutes. For an optimal taste, serve the coffee directly after brewing is finished.

Always turn the coffee maker off and disconnect the power supply when not in use.
CAUTION: When pouring coffee, the momentary incline angle of the carafe shall not be more than 45 degrees from the vertical position. Pour the coffee slowly.
Automatic Start function
If you want to set a start time when the coffee maker should start brewing,
follow these steps:
- Press the “PROG” button once, the word “CLOCK” is shown in the up-right corner of the display.
- Press the “HOUR” and “MIN” buttons continuously to set the present time (real clock) (Fig 1).
- Press the “PROG” button again and the word “TIMER” show in the up-left corner of the display.
- Set the delayed starting time by pressing the “HOUR” and “MIN” buttons repetitively to wanted time (Fig 2)
- After setting the presetting time, press the “PROG” button once, the word “TIMER” on the display will disappear. The display will show the current time. After 15 seconds, the blue indicator lamp in the “PROG” button will be extinguished.
- Press the ON/auto/OFF button twice, the indicator will illuminate blue and flash. The LCD will display the current time. Press the “PROG” button twice to view the automatic start time.
NOTE: You can cancel the automatic start function by pressing the ON/auto/OFF button once to stop the machine. If you want to brew coffee again immediately, press the ON/auto/OFF button once again to start brewing immediately. If you want to change the automatic start time, follow the above steps again.
NOTE:
When automatic brewing starts, the blue indicator in ON/auto/OFF will stop flashing and illuminate red.
Memory
If the power supply has been broken off or if the power cord has been
unintentionally unplugged during operation, the appliance will continue
working automatically when plugged in again, if the pause does not exceed 10
seconds. If the pause exceeds 10 seconds, the display shows the default
setting and the appliance must be re-started.
Hints for Great tasting Coffee
- A clean coffee maker is essential for making great tasing coffee. Regularly clean the coffee maker as specified in the “CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE” section of this user manual.
- Always use fresh, cold water when brewing.
- Store unused coffee powder in a cold, dry place. After opening a package of coffee powder, reseal it tightly and store in a refrigerator to maintain its freshness.
- For optimal coffee taste, buy whole coffee beans and grind them right before use.
- Do not reuse coffee powder since this will greatly reduce the flavour of the coffee. Reheating coffee is not recommended as coffee is at its peak flavour right after brewing.
- Clean the coffee maker when over-extraction causes oiliness. Small oil droplets on the surface are due to the extraction of oil from the coffee powder when brewing.
- Oiliness may occur more frequently if heavily roasted coffee is used.
Cleaning & Maintenance
CAUTION: Be sure to unplug the appliance before cleaning. To protect
against electrical shock, do not immerse the cord, plug or appliance into
water. After each use, make sure the appliance is disconnected from the wall
socket.
- Clean all detachable parts after each use in warm water.
- Wipe the products exterior surface with a soft, damp cloth to remove stains.
- Water droplets may build up in the area above the funnel and drip onto the product base during brewing. To control the dripping, wipe of the area with a clean, dry cloth after each use.
- Use a damp cloth to gently wipe the keeping warm plate, never use abrasive cleaner to clean it.
Removing Mineral deposits
To keep your coffee maker operating efficiently you need to clean away the
mineral deposits left by the water regularly.
- Fill the water tank with water and descaler to the maximum level in the gauge of the coffee maker (the scale of water and descaler is 4:1, the detail refers to the instruction of descaler). Use only household descaler.
- Place the carafe on the keeping warm plate, make sure that the centre line of the carafe aligns with that of brew basket.
- Press the ON/auto/OFF button once and the indicator in it will be illuminated red. After a while, water will drop out automatically.
- After percolating the equivalent of one cup, switch of the appliance by pressing the ON/auto/ OFF button twice. The indicator in it will be illuminated in blue and it will be extinguished after 15 seconds.
- Leave the solution to work for 15 minutes, then repeat steps 3-5 again.
- Turn the appliance on by pressing the ON/auto/OFF button once and run off the water until the water tank is completely empty.
- Rince by operating the appliance with water at least 3 times.
