Read this Manual carefully before use

Safety precautions

Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions listed below may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.

Warning: When using electrical appliances, basics safety precautions, including the following,
should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, personal injury and material
damage.

  1. Read and retain these instructions for future use.

  3. Check that the mains voltage corresponds with the rating of the appliance before operating.

  4. Unplug from electrical supply source before cleaning.

  5. The fan should be placed on a flat and stable surface when operating to avoid overturning.

  6. Do not use in wet conditions or areas of high humidity.

  7. Do not insert objects through the bars of the guard.

  8. Do not use outdoors.

  9. Unplug from mains if not in use.

  10. Do not insert fingers or other objects through the fan guard.

  11. Do not use if any parts are damaged or missing.

  12. If using an extension cord with this product, the marked electrical rating of the cord set, or
    extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the product. Never use the plug with an extension cord unless of the plug can be fully inserted into the extension cord

  13. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
    similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

  14. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced
    physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

  15. Children shall not play with the appliance.

  16. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
    sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
    given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety.

  17. Ensure that the fan is switched off from the supply mains before removing the safety guard.

  18. Warning! Never use without the guards in place. After assembly, do not remove the guards
    during use or cleaning.

Assembly

Fan assembly

  1. Position the rear guard over the motor shaft, ensuring that the notches are correctly aligned
    and then fixed with the three screws.

  2. Align the fan blade with the flat part on the motor shaft, locate fully and secure by tightening the fan blade screw fully.

  3. Position the front guard against the rear guard and holds both guards together and close the clip then tighten the screw and the nut at the bottom of the guard.

Stand assembly

  1. Insert the pole to the base and put the fixed circle and the steady plate under the base, using
    the bolt and nut slice provided to tighten them as shown.

  2. Unscrew the height adjustment knob and pull up the inner tube to adjust the height, ensuring that the knob is fully tightened before proceeding.

  3. Position the fan head motor either side as shown in fig 2 and insert the tilt control bolt to passes through the square hole of the coupling and the lower hole of inner tube. Fully tighten the small screw that is already located in the coupling and then fit the knob onto the tilt control bolt and lightly tighten.

  4. Insert the locking knob through the top hole of the coupling, adjust the fan head to the desired position and firmly tighten screw and the tilt control.

Operating instructions

  1. Ensure slider is in the off position (0) and then plug in.

  2. Adjust fan speed by moving control slider.
    0 Off
    1 Low
    2 Medium
    3 High

  3. To oscillate fan, press down on control knob at the top of the motor housing. To stop
    oscillation, pull up on the same knob.

  4. To change the angle of the fan, loosen large tilt control knob and smaller locking screw,
    adjust fan head to the desired position and retighten.

  5. Use the height adjustment knob to raise or lower the fan as detailed above.

Cleaning

  1. Unplug fan and remove the front guard.
  2. Wipe the blades with soft damp cloth, taking care not to alter the angle of the blades.
  3. Allow to dry.
  4. If necessary, use a soft brush to remove dust from the guards.
  5. Reassemble fan fully before use.
  6. The motor bearings are permanently sealed and do not require additional lubrication.
