Safety notes
Warning
Run the cable of the Notebook lock so that it does not pose a tripping hazard or block emergency exits.
Setting the combination number
Note
The combination is factory-set to `0000′. (Fig. 1)

With a valid combination (`0000′ factory setting, or stored personal code), push the cable towards the numbered wheels and hold it in position. (Fig. 2)

Using the numbered wheels, enter your new, personalised combination (Fig. 3)

Release the cable in order to save the new combination. (Fig. 4)
Warning
Make sure that the cable springs back to its original position after releasing
it.
Note
- We expressly recommend writing the new combination down and storing it in a safe place.
- We accept no liability for any damages resulting from lost or forgotten combinations.
Connection and locking of Notebook lock
- Attach the cable to a fixed object, e.g. foot of a table, cupboard.
- Hold down the button on the lock.
- Plug the lock into the USB port on the device you want to secure.
- Then release the button.
- Adjust the combination number.
Note
This notebook lock is intended for use on USB sockets as defined by the USB specification. The function may be limited if the USB socket has a special design.
Open the Notebook lock
- Enter the correct combination number.
- Press the button.
- Pull the lock out of the USB port.
