Operation way: In standby,Press the “Mode” button,then the LCD screen
showing “F138.0C”,by pressing the-“to”-“to change the Date, Enter into “F2”
setting by press “MODE one more time, then the LCD screen showing “F2 0,0
C.you can press “-“to “-” to change the Date,it is the same operation way for
f3 and f4
Note:” 5UrF” For showing the object, “Body” for the human being is brow
mode under the F4 setting
Intended Use
- The Non-contact Body Infrared Thermometer is designed for body surface and forehead temperature measurement for infants and adults without contacting to human body. It can be used by consumers in household environments in accordance with the ASTM 1965-1988
- Standard specification for infrared thermometers for intermittent Determination of Patient temperature.
Percaution Before Use
In order to obtain reliable and stable results. when changing the environment to a room with a significant temperature difference, it is recommended to leave the Non-contact Body infrared thermometer to this ambient temperature for 15 to 20 minutes before using it.
- Depending on various skin types and thicknesses, there may be temperature differences.
- Do not expose the thermometer to sunlight or to water.
- Allow one-minute interval between two measurements.

Normal Conditions of Use
Use
- 8-1. Install battery
- 8-2. For the first use to when inserting new batteries,wait 10 minutes for the warm-up of the apparatus
- 8-3. If the device is not used for along time once you turn it on again,the device will test the room temperature first and will delay turning on for one two seconds.
- 8-4. Aim towards the forehead (see the diagram below for the positioning), form a distance of 5cm. press the measuring key, the temperature is dispayed immediately,Making sure there is no hair,perspiration,cosmetic or cap covered on the forehead.
- 8-5.When the room temperature is singnificant difference, or there is perspiration on the forehead, You can take the temperature behind the ear lobe, Making sure there on hair perspiration, cosmetic or cap covered.
Measuring Operation
9-1. Data Memory
Data Memory automatically after temperature measurements, which will display
at the right corner of LCD,Press “UP” or “DOWN” button to display the last
temperature measurement.
9-2. Battery Replacement
When battery power is not sufficient, LCD wiLL dispLay “- +” repLacement of
one new battery
Open battery cover, then take out the battery and p”ace a new battery in
,Cover the instrument.
9-3. Longevity Use
The Non-contact Body infrared Thermometer was conceived for an intense and
professional use, its longevity is guaranteed for 40,000 takings.
Advice
The protective glass over the lens is the most important and fragile part of
the thermometer,please take great care of it.
Clean the glass with cotton fabric,wet with water or 70°C alcohol.
- Do not use other batteries thanmentioned batteries,
- do not recharge non rechargeable batteries.
- Do not expose the thermometer to sunlight or water.

The screen dispays the message “Hi” When using the non-contact Body infrared Thermometer The message HI can show on the screen. The analysis of “HI” is that the temperature you are testing is above the measurement range selected. Superior to 43°C (109.4 F) in Body mode.
The screen dispaly the message “L 0” When using the non-contact body infrared thermometer The message IO can show on the screen The temperature is analyzed under the measuring range selected. Less than 32C (89Fin Body mode,
This message dispalys in various cases-please find below a list of the main cases: 2F in Surface mode.
Advice For the 1st Use
For stable and reiabe results. It is essential to check the non-contact body
IR thermometer and change as needed, as follows:
-
Step: take the temperature of a person using a conventional thermometer, you will get st 37.5 °C for instance.
-
step: take the temperature of the same person using the non-contact Body IR thermometer keeping the 5cm distance between the thermometer and the forehead (take care to remove any obstacle which could alter the measurement (hair, perspiration..)if you get 37.5°C the Non-contact Body IR thermometer is properly set and ready for use.
If you get a lower temperature, 36.4°C (97.4′ F)for example, your difference is 1.1 °c (33.98 F) You should adjust the temperature on the Non-contact Body LR thermometer and add the difference I.e 1.1°C (33.98 F)
Instruction: turn on unit and press”MODE” button for 3 seconds to enter “F1” ,access “F2″by choosing up or down arrow, Re-press”MODE” to acess 0.0. increase or decrease value by press up or down arrow.press measurement rigger to finish setting. -
3th step: To check, take the temperature again using the Non-contact Body LR thermometer.
