Instructions for Assembly

1. Insert the “Figure of 8” cable into the motor.
2. Insert the other side of the “Figure of 8” cable into the mains.
3. Insert the RJ10 cable into the motor.
4. Insert the USB mains plug into the Smart Plug.
5. Insert the USB cable into the USB plug.
6. Insert the assembled USB & Smart Plug into the mains.
7. Now that both plugs are inserted into the mains, follow the intructions in the Smart Plug app to complete set-up.

Method 1: Instructions for pairing with Smart Life/Tuya app

Please note that you need to pair each device one at a time. Please ensure that your WIFI connection is on 2.4 GHz.

1. Download and register an account on the Smart Life or Tuya App. Then select “+”.
2. Select “Socket” under the “Electrician”.
3. Check that the light is flashing rapidly. If not hold RESET button for 5 secs until it blinks fast.
4. Enter your WIFI credentials to connect to your home network. Please ensure that the WIFI network is 2.4 GHz. Please contact us if you need assistance in spliting your WIFI Frequency.
5. Now wait until the Smart Plug is discovered.
6. Once the Smart Plug is discovered, rename it: “Living Room Curtains” (for example) and Select “Done”.

Method 2: Instructions for pairing with Smart Life/Tuya app

Please note that you need to pair each device one at a time. Please ensure that your WIFI connection is on 2.4 GHz.

1. Download and register an account on the Smart Life or Tuya App. Then select “+”.
2. Select “Socket” under the “Electrician”.
3. Select “AP Mode” under “Net Pairing Mode”. Check that the light is flashing slowly and then follow the instructions in the app.
4. Enter your WIFI credentials to connect to your home network.
5. Select “Go to Connect” and then select “SmartLife-XXXX” in your device’s WIFI settings. Finally go back to the app to continue.
6. Once the Smart Plug is discovered, rename it: “Living Room Curtains”(for example) and Select “Done”.
