Smart Extendable Curtain Track
Instructions for Installation
20kg Suitable loading capacity
Please DO NOT INSTALL the motor before you have fully assembled the track.
Open the left-hand side clamp to begin releasing the track
Open the right-hand side clamp to fully release the track.
Now extend the track to your required length.
Now close and secure the clamps at your required length.
Now move the carriers to the far left and right, if the carriers don’t move then please loosen the screws on the carrier to allow smooth movement.
Once the carriers are positioned at the ends of the track, then tighten the screws to secure the carriers.
Now cut the plastic covers to the length required with a pair of scissors. You can install it as shown in the diagram above.
Now attach the end clips as shown in diagram “a” and then attach the curtain hooks as shown in diagram “b”. We recommend 12 – 13 hooks per meter.
Now install the ceiling(straight, “a”) brackets or the wall-mounted brackets (right-angled, “b”) as shown on the diagram above.
Depending on how much you have extended the curtain track, please ensure that you have brackets “b” installed at a minimum of 30cm intervals on the double- track section.
Now install the track on the wall or ceiling using the correct brackets, please refer to the diagram above.
Before installing the motor unit to the tracking unit, please ensure the
carriers are positioned in the center of the curtain track. Now connect the
power cable and then physically open and close the curtain a couple of times
and the opening and closing limits will automatically be set.
This step only applies to the initial setup, please refer to “Set Limits” if
you are reinstalling to reset the motor.

Factory Reset/Opening & Closing Reset Limits
Once you have fully installed the curtain track, you will then have to set new
limits for opening/closing curtains. Press and hold the reset button for 3-4
secs until the red LED light comes on. Now while the light is on, quickly
press and hold for 7-8 secs until the light goes off. The carriers will move
slightly to confirm.
Before You Start Pairing

Download and register an account on the Smart Life or Tuya App. Then select “+”.

Select “Small Home Appliances” and then select “Curtain (Wi-Fi)”

Enter your WIFI credentials to connect to your home network. Please check WiFi Connection is on 2.4GHz

Select “AP Mode” under “EZ Mode”.

Select “Go to Connect” and then select “SmartLife-XXXX” in your device’s WIFI settings. Finally, go back to the app to continue.
You may see a message similar to the one below on Android OS, please select “Keep Wi-Fi Connection”
- Once the device has finished connecting and is discovered, rename it and select “Done”.
If the LEDs are flashing fast, press the reset button 4 times quickly, and on the 5th time press and hold the button until the light remains on and then let go

Instructions for Pairing With Remote
- Press the reset button on the base of the motor for 3 seconds until the LED light stays on.
- Now press the channel setting button on the back of the remote for 1 second.
- Finally, press the reset button on the motor whilst the LED light is flashing to confirm pairing, please note you need to do this within 30 seconds
