Congratulations on your purchase of a DRIBUDDI home drying system from BENNETT
READ. This product is made to the highest quality standards and, with correct
use, will provide you with many years of trouble-free service. Please take a
few minutes to read this user guide so that you are able to get the best use
from your DRIBUDDI.
PLEASE KEEP THIS USER GUIDE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
IMPORTANT
The issues mentioned below are important for the safe and effective use of your DRIBUDDI.
- Do not overload your DRIBUDDI. Having sold huge quantities of DRIBUDDI’s to many satisfied customers throughout the world, our experience has shown that users who do not take note of this warning will be disappointed with the slower drying time. Clothes to be dried should not exceed 10kg in total when damp. Hang a selection of small and large items on your DRIBUDDI so that garments ore ideally not touching each other and there is enough space for air to flow around the clothes. This is crucial for clothes to dry in the appropriate time…failure to do so will result in much longer drying times
- When in use, be sure to keep your DRIBUDDI at least 1.5m away from any water or fire source
- Clean only with a damp cloth. As it is an electrical appliance, DO NOT rinse with water in any way
- Make sure that the power supply socket has an earth leakage contact
- Prior to use, make sure that the clothes to be dried have already been spun-dried in a washing machine, or well wrung in the case of a hand wash. Spinning or wringing out will ensure a dramatically faster drying time, and will reduce the quantity of water dripping onto the base of the dryer
- The metal parts above the motor unit become hot during use. Never touch these metal parts as they may cause burns to the skin
- Keep children away from the DRIBUDDI while it is in use
- DRIBUDDI draws air in from below the motor unit. Ensure that the area around the tripod legs is kept clear. The zip-on cover has four holes on its top section to ensure that warm air can escape… ensure that these holes are not covered in any way. The DRIBUDDI should not be operated under any circumstances with either of these ventilation areas covered in any way

DRIBUDDI, therefore, avoids all the pitfalls of a tumble dryer:
– Many clothes that are unable to be dried in a tumble dryer can now be dried using a DRIBUDDI
– There is no tumbling of clothing, which means that clothes are not damaged as they are in a tumble dryer. Consider all the “balling” found on tumble dried clothing or the vast amount of clothing fibers that are found in the filter of a tumble drier
– DRIBUDDI uses a fraction of the electricity of a tumble dryer -
High efficiency…clothes are dried in 1-3 hours, depending on the thickness of fabric and quantity of clothes in the DRIBUDDI

Avoids the pitfalls of drying your clothes on a washing line…no dust, bird or insect droppings, no pollution, drying clothes can’t be caught in a thunderstorm…and they can’t be stolen off the washing linel

Folds up easily and is transportable…ideal for caravanning and camping. Once folded up, it will fit on a shelf in a cupboard

ASSEMBLY
A Insert the three dryer legs into the corresponding holes on the base of the motor unit
B Fit the waterproof plate onto the lower tube and screw the lower tube onto the motor unit by turning it in a clockwise direction until tight.
C Place the upper supporting tube into the connector and screw it clockwise until it can not go any further.
D Put clothes onto hangers (preferably plastic hangers). Clothes should
ideally not be touched. Do not overload os this will adversely affect the
drying time.
E Open up all zips of the cover, surround the hanging clothes with the cover,
and zip up all zips. IMPORTANT: Ensure that the sections of the cover around
the motor unit are correctly seated.
OPERATION:
- Insert the plug into an electrical wall socket
- Rotate the timer switch clockwise to the desired duration of drying, and leave the Bennett read DRIBUDDI to do the rest. The DRIBUDDI will switch off automatically after the chosen duration
- Rotate the switch anticlockwise to enable DRIBUDDI to work without a time limit
EXTENDED WARRANTY:
Your BENNETT READ DRIBUDDI is warranted against manufacture faults for a
period of 2 years. If you register your warranty online at
www.tevo.co.za within 14 days of purchase, then your
warranty will be extended to 3 years. Tevo undertakes to repair or replace
this product, at Tevo’s option, at no charge if found to be defective due to a
manufacturing fault during the warranty period. This warranty excludes damage
caused by misuse, neglect, shipping accident, commercial use, incorrect
installation, or unauthorized repair. Tevo is not liable for incidental or
consequential damages of any nature associated with the use of this product.
Tevo’s liability will not exceed the purchase price of this product.
PLEASE KEEP YOUR RECEIPT TO VERIFY YOUR WARRANTY.
This warranty applies to products used for personal or domestic use only and
specifically excludes any malfunction or defect arising from commercial use.

Exceptions and exclusions from the terms of the warranty:
This warranty is exclusive and in lieu of any other warranties either oral or
written. Any implied guarantees which may arise by operation of law, including
the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular
purpose, are limited to the six-month duration from the date of purchase as
described above.
