I put my camera close to router to set it up.
Do they now iffer their own solar panel or can we use from another manufacturer? Charging batteries once a week is bit much?****
No they don’t and they told me to buy one. Problem is I’m not a expert at placing the solar panel in the right spot so charging it that way has been a challenge as well.
Does this come with a charging cord?****

Can this camera be monitored from an IP address typed into a web browser on a laptop instead of using the mobile app?****
No

Not compatible with Alexa according to Amazon help chat.
How to connect cameras to Wi-Fi?****
My cable company gave me 2 at my business. One says 5G. It would not hook up to that one. It prompted Wi-Fi. My internet came up. I clicked the regular one, entered my Wi-Fi password. Connected. Just like your phone.
I’m leaving for over 2 months- will the battery last?****
The battery depends on how much activity you have on the camera. The more activity it picks up the faster the battery drains.
Can notifications be set up for certain times of day?****
The camera can be scheduled for sleep times. Don’t know if that answers the question. If the camera is on, it will notify you according to what criteria you put into the setting.
Can you use it with security monitoring software on your computer to record?****
No

Has batteries. Plugs in to charge batteries otherwise wireless. However I’ve only had it a week and batteries went dead. It might be I haven’t adjusted the capture video correctly. But does have good video.
Do I need to take this down to constantly charge…It needs to be charged already?****
At first the battery was losing charge kinda fast but then you have to play around with it to make sure it is not getting all objects we set to people only. I live on a very busy street and it was picking up on it. We also decided to leave it plugged to see how that would work also.
Why has my battery gone down 80% in less than a week?****
Just leave ur camera plugged in at all times no problem.
What is the maximum distance that it can be installed from the router?****
Depends on Wi-Fi strength, camera will let you know the strength.

It easily picks up cars and people walking from about 70 feet from where it’s located.
So how long of image will this camera store without a SD card, if any?****
If the images upload to your phone, you can review them.

This camera is unable to connect to my Wi-Fi, so I am unable to use it.

It works with iOS.
Can u go back and watch the video footage?****
Yes it makes a 10 to 20 second video that you can download and save.
How do you reset the camera?****
It varies with manufacturer some have a push button and some a hole to insert a probe. Search for your specific camera manual online to determine yours.
Do you get 7 days free cloud storage only once or always?****
Not really an answer but I don’t use cloud storage, I bought the Gig sim card and store it in the camera itself. It forces you to accept cloud storage but you don’t have to put in payment info or use it.
If you mount it up high, can you tilt it downward?****
