Putting into operation
Before first use, be sure to read the safety instructions contained in this user’s manual carefully. Before first use, please charge the BT headphones to a maximum level. The headphones are automatically ready to use after removing from the charging box.
Caution: To prevent damage to your hearing, before connecting the BT headphones to your mobile phone, make sure that your device’s volume level is always set to minimum.
Note: The BT headphones will turn off after a longer period of inactivity unless they are paired to another device.
Pairing your headphones via Bluetooth
You can start pairing the BT headphones with your mobile device using one of the following procedures:
a) When used for the first time, the headphones will automatically turn on
after opening the charging box will be ready for pairing to your mobile
device.
b) While the headphones are placed in the charging box, long-press the
multifunction button in the box for 3 seconds until the LED indicator next to
the multifunction button starts flashing slowly in white. The LED indication
notifies of starting the pairing mode. While the BT headphones are being
paired to your mobile device, leave the charging box open.
Then, find the Bluetooth headphones narne “Gemini” in the device to which you
wish to pair and start the pairing process. If you are requested to enter a
pairing code while your device and the BT headphones are pairing, use the
following code: “ODDO”.
To cancel the pairing process, disconnect the BT headphones from your mobile
device [cancel the Bluetooth pairing]
Note: To ensure a stable Bluetooth connection, make sure that the distance between the BT headphones and your paired device is kept within 10 meters. Depending on the surrounding interference, it is sometimes necessary to keep a shorter distance between the BT headphones and your paired device.
Headphone LED indicator
- The headphones are correctly inserted in the charging box – solid orange LED lights
- The headphones are in the state of searching for an already paired Bluetooth device – orange slowly flashing LED
- The headphones are connected to another device via Bluetooth – orange LED goes out
- The headphones are in the pairing mode – fast flashing orange LED
Operation of the BT headphones
Turning the BT headphones off: Inserting the BT headphones in the
charging box will disconnect them from the Bluetooth transmission and turn
them off automatically.
Answering/ending a phone call: To answer an incoming call to a paired mobile
device on the BT headphones, tap twice the multifunction touch button area on
the headphone. To hang up an ongoing call, tap twice the multifunction touch
button on the headphone.
Rejecting an incoming call: To reJect an incoming call to a paired mobile
device, hold down the multifunction touch button area on the headphone for
several seconds until the call is rejected.
Switching the ongoing call between the BT headphones and your mobile device:
During an ongoing call, hold down the multifunction button area on the
headphone for several seconds.
Ta start/pause the music playback: To start/pause the music playback from your connected mobile device, tap twice the multifunction touch button area on the headphone.
Ta skip ta previous/next track being played: To skip to previous track during the music playback from your connected mobile device, hold down the multifunction touch button area on the left BT headphone for several seconds [to skip to next track, penform the same procedure on the right BT headphone].
Charging
A charged battery provides power for several hours of operation at normal
volume levels. A high volume consumes more battery power; therefore, we
recommend listening at normal volume levels.
If the BT headphones are placed in the charging box, the LED inside the box
shows the BT headphones charging status:
a. Orange indication – the BT headphones are not fully charged and their
charging is in progress
b. Green indication – the BT headphones are fully charged and their charging
is finished
If the BT headphones are located outside the charging box, the LED indicator inside the box shows the charging box status:
a. Orange flashing indication – charging box battery level <10%
b. Orange solid indication – charging box battery level 10-50%
c. Green indication – charging box battery level 50-100%
You can verify the charging box battery level even while your BT headphones
are being charged. To do so, press the multifunction button inside the box
briefly.
While the box charging is in progress, the LED inside the box shows the
charging status:
a. Orange indication – the box is being charged
b. Green indication – the charging box is fully charged
Caution: For charging, use only the original accessories supplied with the appliance. To achieve the maximum battery lifetime, it is best to start charging the battery after the low battery power notification. Charge continuously until fully charged. When the battery operating time becomes very short. the battery lifetime has been used up; we recommend that you have the battery replaced at your authorized centre.
Recommendation: If your headphones are not to be used for an extended period of time, we recommend to fully charge the batteries once every two to three months. We recommend to store the BT headphones and the charging box with the battery charged to prevent irreparable damage to the battery [loss of capacity].
Factory settings
To erase the history of mobile devices paired to your BT headphones, reset
your BT headphones to default factory settings. Insert the BT headphones in
the charging box, leaving the box open. Hold down the multifunction button
inside the charging box forl □ seconds until the LED inside the charging box
lights 5 times in green.
