APOLLO
24-Hour Temperature Smart Fitness Watch
USER MANUAL
BEFORE USE
The Somatik Apollo smartwatch and App have been carefully developed to assist
you in maintaining your physical and mental health.
PLEASE NOTE: The Apollo smartwatch is not a medical/therapeutic device.
It is not intended for medical use or in the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring
or prevention of disease or other health conditions.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The Somatik Apollo Smart Watch is designed to be IP67 Water Resistant. The
Apollo Smart Watch can be worn while washing hands, in rain, and in daily
activities that may incur some contact with water.
However, the Somatik Apollo Smart Watch should not be worn in hot water
showers or saunas where water vapor may be present. Doing so may allow water
vapour to enter the watch. The Somatik Apollo Smart Watch must also not be
worn when swimming or in the sea Ocean water may cause erosion to the watch.
CAUTION: Do not allow the 2 charging pins on the back of the watch to
connect with conducting material at same time, it may cause a short circuit.
Read all instructions before use -please save these instructions.

The Apollo Smart Watch is compatible with devices running with Android 4.4 and above, iOS 8.5 and above. Bluetooth must be 4.0 and above.
HOW TO OPERATE YOUR APOLLO SMARTWATCH
Upper Button: Long press to switch ON/OFF, short press screen to activate
the screen.
Touch instructions: Tap to enter and swipe right to go back; Slide down
to enter the status bar under the home screen; slide right to enter More;
slide left to enter the Main Menu; slide up to enter the notification center.
Changeable band: To change the band, locate the switch pin at the
connection between the watch case and band, slide it to the middle to take the
band on and off. Charging instructions: The watch has a magnetic charger that
connects to the back of the watch. The charger will only connect to the watch
one way. You can use a 5V mobile phone charger or a computer USB charging port
connection. Connect the charging point to the charging pins at the back of the
device, your smartwatch will charge automatically. A full charge usually takes
around 2 hours. Do not use the watch when charging. The average run time of a
fully charged watch is up to 7 days.
CONNECTING WATCH TO “SOMATIK FIT” APP ON YOUR SMARTPHONE
Download the “Somatik Fit’ app to your smartphone via one of the following two methods.
- Search “Somatik Fit” in either the App store for OS or Google Play Store for Android phones.
- Scan the below QR code through a QR scanner application or browser.
Once the correct app has been located press GET or INSTALL to Install the app.
Before opening the app, ensure that your smartphone’s Bluetooth connection is
active.
Once installation is complete, open the app. The app will prompt you to sign
in. If the user does not have an account – click “Immediate Registration” to
sign up. After registration is completed, sign into the app.
The app will prompt the user to enable notifications and access permissions.
When all prompts are answered the user can connect the watch to the smartphone
app.
Connecting the Watch via Bluetooth
A message will pop up on the SmartWatch home screen to prompt the user to
connect to the smartwatch. If not, press “My Profile” on the bottom menu bar
in the app. On the “My Profile” page dashboard is a “Connection Management”
tab, click to launch.
Press ‘Connect Smartwatch” to find the watch. Once the search is complete a
list of devices with Bluetooth will appear. Select the “APOLLO’ device to
connect. To disconnect your smartwatch completely from your smartphone, you
must un-pair it via your smartphone’s Bluetooth settings. If you do not do
this, the watch may be disconnected from your app but will still continue to
receive notifications from your smartphone if you are in range. Please note:
Some smartphones may require GPS to be turned on in order to connect the
watch.
FIRMWARE UPDATE
To check if there is a firmware update, follow the below steps:
- Press “My Profile” on the bottom menu bar in the app.
- Press “Smart Watch Settings” on the dashboard.
- Scroll down to the bottom and select ‘Firmware Update”. If there is a firmware update available it will appear in ‘Latest Version”. Click to update to the latest firmware.
Note: If the firmware upgrade is unsuccessful, wait for the watch battery
to run empty. Once the watch battery has run out place it on charge and re-
boot. Search for Bluetooth device ‘APOLLO’ to connect and upgrade the
firmware.
As Bluetooth operation is different between different smartphone brands, the
connection could become unstable with the watch. If this occurs, restart your
smartphone and re-connect the watch through the same process.
KEY FEATURES
Language/Time/Date: The Apollo will synchronize the date & time from your
smartphone when you connect it to the App via Bluetooth.
Standby Watch Face: There are different options to choose from for
standby watch faces. To access these, press the Home screen for 2 seconds and
swipe left or right to view the different watch face options.
Status Screen: Swipe down to enter the standby interface with Bluetooth
status, QR code, brightness adjustment and battery status.
Notifications: Slide right to enter the notifications menu. Notifications
from smartphones that are supported include calls, WhatsApp, SMS and WeChat
messages. Incoming calls and messages will alert via the vibration of the
smartwatch. You can decline a call via the smartwatch. Notifications that have
not been seen will trigger a vibrating reminder.
Pedometer/Distance/Calorie: Monitors daily steps, mileage, and calories.
Data will be reset at midnight each day. The watch supports up to 7 days of
recorded data.
Sports: Multiple sports modes are available to choose from. Select your
desired mode to start. To pause a work out swipe right. Duration, calorie
consumption, heart rate and other data from your workout are recorded in this
mode.
HEALTH CARE
Heart Rate: When this function is activated, the heart rate is measured
by scanning the surface capillary of the skin with optical diodes. Allow for
about 2 seconds to start measuring and recording your heart rate. To stop
measuring, slide to other menus. To find your heart rate data, current
readings can be found on the “Home’ dashboard. Click on the ‘HR’ tab to open
all saved reported data.
Watch: Press the top button on the side of the watch to deactivate
standby mode. Swipe left 3 times to access the health reading dashboard. Click
on ‘HR’ to access readings. After about 30 seconds once a reading is confirmed
the watch will vibrate and show your health data. Please refer to information
about average heart rate, heart rate while exercising for your age group and
gender online and/or ask your medical practitioner for advice. Please note:

Blood Pressure: Put your hands flat on a surface and do not move for 1
minute. Upon this function activating, 45 – 50 seconds is required to measure
and read. To find your blood pressure data, current readings can be found on
the ‘Home’ dashboard. Click on the ‘BP’ tab to open all saved reported data.
Watch: Press the top button on the side of the watch to deactivate
standby mode. Swipe left 3 times to access the health reading dashboard. Click
on “BP’ to access readings. After about 20 seconds once a reading is confirmed
the watch will vibrate and show your health data.

Blood Oxygen: Blood Oxygen Level (SPO2E) refers to the amount of oxygen
that is circulating in the blood. To find your blood oxygen data, current
readings can be found on the ‘Home’ dashboard. Click on the ISp021 tab to open
all saved reported data.
Watch: Press the top button on the side of the watch to deactivate
standby mode. Swipe left 3 times to access the health reading dashboard. Click
on SP02″. After about 20 seconds the watch will vibrate and produce an SP02
percentage reading. For information regarding healthy or unhealthy SPO2H
levels for an age group and gender please seek advice from a medical
practitioner.
Please note: This is not a medical device, any values shown are for
reference only.
Temperature: A normal body temperature is 35.9°C – 37.2°C. This reading
will vary throughout the day. Any temperatures over 37.3°C are classified as a
low-grade fever. The maximum temperature difference is 1°C. Your current
temperature readings are viewed on the watch. Press the top button to
deactivate standby mode. Swipe left 6 times to find the temperature screen.
Sleep Monitor: Sleep monitoring will automatically activate from 10 pm
through to 8 am every night. To access your recorded sleep patterns go to the
‘Somatik Fit’ App on your smartphone and click on the Sleep Tab on the
dashboard in the Home section. Watch: Press the top button on the side of the
watch to deactivate standby mode. Swipe left 2 times to access sleep data.
WATCH FUNCTIONS
Stopwatch: To access the stopwatch function, press the top button on the
side of the watch to deactivate standby mode. Swipe right to access the
functions menu. Select Stopwatch (2nd item). Press the play button to begin
timing. The watch will vibrate. To Pause press the play button again. The
watch will vibrate again. Press the refresh button to start again. The watch
will vibrate. Remote Camera: Open the ‘Somatik Fit” app. Go into ‘My
Profile and select the Smartwatch Settings”. Click on “Shake Photo”. This will
automatically open the smartphone’s camera. To take a photo shake your
smartwatch. Please note that in order to use this function then you must allow
the Somatik Fit app to have access to the camera.
About: Access this to find the information on the device model, firmware
version and the Bluetooth address. This can be achieved two ways:
- Press the top button on the side of the watch to deactivate standby mode Swipe down from the top to access the main menu on the watch to enter into the status screen. Press the information icon to access the About information.
- Press the top button on the side of the watch to deactivate standby mode. Swipe right once to access the menu. Swipe up to go down to the next page. Press ‘About”.
Reset: To factory reset the watch, press the top button on the side of
the watch to deactivate standby mode. Swipe right once to access the menu.
Swipe up to go to the next page. Press ‘Factory Reset”.
Alarm: Multiple alarms can be set on the Somatik Fit app that will
trigger the smartwatch to alert you via vibrations. To program this go into
the SmartWatch Settings and click on the ‘Smart Reminders°’ tab to select the
Alarm settings.
Sedentary Reminder. Receive vibrate notifications on your watch if you
have not stood up or moved over a period of time. This can be activated in the
Smartwatch settings on the Somatik Fit app. To activate go into the SmartWatch
Settings and click on the ‘Smart Reminders’ tab to select the Sedentary
reminder settings. You can select a period of time during the day that the
watch will remind you to move around.
Find Your Phone: To access the Find Your Phone function, press the top
button on the side of the watch to deactivate standby mode. Swipe right to
access the functions menu. Select Find your phone (3rd item). Your smartphone
will then vibrate automatically to highlight its location to you.
Screen Brightness: To set the screen brightness on the watch press the
top button to deactivate standby mode. Swipe down from the top of the home
screen. Click the brightness icon (4th icon) and adjust as desired.
Please note that when this function is activated it consumes more power.
Unit Setup: Choose between using the Metric System or the Imperial
System. To change to desired unit setup:
- Press ‘My Profile” on the bottom menu bar in the app.
- Press ‘Personal Data’ on the screen dashboard.
- Scroll down to the “Unit” section and select the desired unit system for each option.
Data Transmission: All recorded data will be saved on the watch. This will be transmitted to the “Somatik Fit” app. To export your recorded data press the icon on the top right-hand corner in the screens that show all data.
WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian
Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure
and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You
are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to
be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian
Consumer Law. Directed Electronics Australia Pty Ltd (Directed Electronics)
warrants that this product is free from defects in material and workmanship
for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase or for the period stated
on the packaging. This warranty is only valid where you have used the product
in accordance with any recommendations or instructions provided by Directed
Electronics.
This warranty excludes defects resulting from alterations of the product,
accident, misuse, abuse or neglect. In order to claim the warranty, you must
return the product to the retailer from which it was purchased or if that
retailer is part of a national network, a store within that chain, along with
satisfactory proof of purchase. The retailer will then return the goods to
Directed Electronics.
Directed Electronics will repair, replace or refurbish the product at its
discretion. The retailer will contact you when the product is ready for
collection. All costs involved in claiming this warranty, including the cost
of the retailer sending the product to Directed Electronics, will be borne by
you.

INDEMNITY
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Somatik Labs and its subsidiaries and affiliates from and against any and all claims, proceedings, injuries, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees), including but not limited to, claims to allege negligence, invasion of privacy, copyright infringement and/ or trademark infringement against Somatik Labs and its subsidiaries and affiliates or thematic labs services, relating to or arising out of your breach of any provision of these terms, your misuse of the Somatik Labs or Somatik Labs services, or your unauthorized modification or alteration of products or software.
WARRANTY AND WARRANTY DISCLAIMER
Somatik Labs has a limited warranty on whereby Somatik Labs warrants to and only to you that somatic labs medical diagnostic and UV-C sanitization devices, including temperature thermometers, blood pressure monitors, UV-C sanitizers and UV-C sanitizing wands/cases/ travel bags and smartwatches will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of your purchase of the on Somatik Labs medical diagnostic and UV-C sanitization devices, including temperature thermometers, blood pressure monitors, UV-C sanitizers and UV-C sanitizing wands/cases/travel bags and smartwatches (unless a longer warranty period is required by law). The specifics of this somatic labs limited warranty are at https://www.somatiklabs.com/warranty.
To the extent possible under governing law, other than the above product
warranty for the Somatik Labs medical diagnostic and UV-C sanitization
devices, including temperature thermometers, blood pressure monitors, UV-C
sanitizers and UV-C sanitizing wands/cases/travel bags and smartwatches, you
understand and agree that the Somatik Labs services are provided on an “as is
and as available basis. Somatik Labs makes no warranty that the Somatik Labs
product and services will meet your requirements or that use of the Somatik
Labs services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free nor does
somatic labs make any warranty as to the accuracy or reliability of any
information obtained through the somatic labs services (including third party
content), that any defects in the Somatik Labs services will be corrected or
that the Somatik Labs products or somatic labs services will be compatible
with any other specific hardware or service. Further, Somatik Labs does not
warrant that the Somatik Labs services or the Somatik Labs servers that
provide you with data and content are free of viruses or other harmful
components. Somatik Labs also assumes no responsibility for and shall not be
liable for any damages caused by viruses that may infect your somatik labs
medical diagnostic and UV-C sanitization devices, including temperature
thermometers, blood pressure monitors, IN-C sanitizers and UV-C sanitizing
wands/cases/ travel bags and smartwatches, computer software, or other
hardware.
You agree that Somatik Labs is not a provider of medical services and that
Somatik Labs is not providing me with medical diagnoses of any type. In the
event of any loss, damage or injury, you will not look to Somatik Labs to
compensate you or anyone else. You release and waive for yourself and your
insurer all subrogation and other rights to recover against Somatik Labs
arising as a result of the payment of any claim for loss, damage or injury.
Somatik Labs’ equipment and services do not cause and cannot eliminate
occurrences of certain events, including, but not limited to medical problems
or medical incidents. Somatik Labs makes no guarantee or warranty, including
any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness fora particular purpose,
that the Somatik Labs equipment and services provided will detect or avert
such incidents or their consequences. Somatik Labs does not undertake any risk
that you or property, or the person or property of others, may be subject to
injury or loss if such an event occurs. The allocation of such risk remains
with you, not Somatik Labs.
Other than the above product warranty for the somatik labs medical diagnostic
and LN-CC sanitization devices, including temperature thermometers, blood
pressure monitors, UV-C sanitizers and UV-C sanitizing wands/cases/ travel
bags and smartwatches, Somatik Labs and its suppliers disclaim all warranties
of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, regarding the Somatik
Labs services, including any implied warranty of tide, merchantability,
fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of third party rights.
Because some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion of implied warranties,
the last sentence of this section may not apply to you. Somatik Labs hereby
further expressly disclaims all liability for any claims for service failures
that are due to normal product wear, product misuse, abuse, product
modification, improper product selection or your non-compliance with any and
all applicable federal, state or local laws. This warranty and warranty
disclaimer gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that
vary by state, province, or country.
Other than as permitted by law, Somatik Labs does not exclude, limit or
suspend other rights you have, including those that may arise from the
nonconformity of a sales contract. For a full understanding of your rights you
should consult the laws of your state, province, or county. For our Australian
customers: Please note that this warranty is in addition to any statutory
rights in Australia in relation to your goods which, pursuant to the
Australian Consumer Law, cannot be excluded.
