Warnings and advice
Important – Please read these instructions fully before operating your MP3 player. Do not expose to dripping or splashed fluids.
- The unit should not be exposed to direct sunlight, very high or low temperature, moisture, vibrations, strong magnetic fields, high frequencies and dusty environments.
- Do not disassemble or modify the MP3 player, there are no user serviceable parts and the battery is non replaceable.
- If the player is damaged in anyway or malfunctions do not use.
- Consult a qualified service engineer.
- Do not use abrasives, benzene, thinner or other solvents to clean the surface of the unit. To clean, wipe with clean soft cloth and a mild detergent solution. This product contains a Li-ion battery. It must be used and charged properly. The battery could catch fire if Improperly used.
- As this product contains a Li-ion battery it should be disposed of appropriately. Do not dispose of it with household waste, at the end of its life cycle; hand it over to a collection centre for the -recycling ofelectrical and electronic appliances with batteries.
- Please check with your Local Authority for recycling advice.

Introduction
The M341 MP3 player stores and plays back audio, photo and video files. It can
be listened to wirelessly via a connected Bluetooth device or via the
headphone socket using the earphones supplied. You can view video, photos and
read E books on the LCD display. In addition you can record audio with the
built-in microphone and listen to FM radio stations. The player will store up
to 16GB of files on board and a further 128GB on a micro SD card.

Please Note: The Earphone lead acts as an aerial. Sa you will need to connect the earphones (supplied) before tuning the radio on your play even if you are using Bluetooth for FM playback.
Charging
The M341 is fitted with a built-in Lithium-ion battery. We recommend that the
battery is chargedf or 2-3 hours before first use. Connect to a powered socket
on a USB adaptor or PC/laptop. If connecting to a computer you can download
files while charging providing you use the micro USB charging/data transfer
cable supplied.
N.B. Many USB cables are suitable for charging only.
When connected the charging screen above will appear use< or> and all key to select “Charge & transfer” option if you want to upload music/photo/video/E-book files while charging or “Charge & play” option for charging only. During charging the charging icon will be displayed. The green battery icon will be displayed when the M341 is fully charged. The “Battery is low” message and icon will appear when the M341 needs charging. Loading files to your M341
When connected your M341 will show as “No Name” on a Mac or “” on a PC. Drag and drop music/video/photo/videos or eBook files of a suitable format into the folder to copy them to your M341 (for compatible file formats see Specifications table). If a micro SD card is loaded this will also be visible as a folder you can copy files to. Eject the player folder when you have loaded your files. Your M341 will display the menu screen last accessed.
Operating your M341
To switch on your player press and hold down the power key for 2-3 seconds
Repeat the process to switch off your player.
Main menus
Use< and> keys to navigate through the menus, press key to enter a menu.
Setup menu
You can use the Setup menu to set the date and time, change the language used
by the operating system and adjust display settings.
To change the language:
Bluetooth Connection
The M341 will connect to and play music and FM radio on most Bluetooth audio
output devices such as wireless headphones and speakers as long as they
support Bluetooth A2DP profile. Place the M341within 1 m of the device to
pair.
Follow steps 1-7 to connect a Bluetooth device, the Bluetooth icon* appears
top right of the screen when connection is successful. Once paired, player and
device will reconnect automatically when Bluetooth is turned on – Steps 1 – 3)
If they don’t reconnect automatically follow steps 0- 0 then select “Connect”
and press key.
Music Playback
You can create playlists on your computer or smartphone using Media Monkey
(download at www.mediamonkey.com}. The M341 is compatible with .M3u files.
Movie playback
The M341 is only compatible with AMV/AVI video files and these need to be
formatted as 160 x 120 I 320 x 240 pixels max. before loading on to the M341.
To convert other file types and formats to the above format a wide range of
free conversion software is available to download from the internet for
different OS.
Recording voice and playing recordings
The M341 has a built-in microphone allowing you to make voice recordings.
Ideal for recording memos. Recordings are saved as .WAV files.
To playback voice and FM radio recordings select a file to playback from the Recordings library. Press ‘ill to return to recordings library press again for sub menu and again to return to the main Record menu.
FM Radio
Please make sure earphones are connected before tuning FM
stations.
Changing/setting presets manually
eBook playback
You can playback eBook files in TXT format loaded on to your M341
player.
Photo playback
You can view JPEG, GIF and BMP image files loaded on to your M341 player.
