PRODIGY™ CE BLUETOOTH ® WIRELESS TECHNOLOGY (iOS Devices)
This Adjustable Base can be operated from your personal iOS or Android device through the Leggett & Platt Prodigy CE App. For Android devices, go to page 9.
To pair with your Bluetooth ® -enabled iOS device:

1.  Go to the App Store.

2. Search for the Leggett & Platt Prodigy CE app.

3. Download the app to your personal device.

4. Ensure that there are no batteries in the power supply and unplug the base from the electrical power source. The control box has to be completely off in order to boot back into pairing mode. Wait 3-5 minutes to ensure that the control box completely powers down.

5.   Plug the base back into the electrical power source. Once plugged in, the under-bed lights will come on and stay lit for 1 minute. Then the blue light on the control box will flash for 1 minute to indicate the device is in Bluetooth ® / app pairing mode.
   Note: If the blue light on the control box is not flashing, the app will not pair to the control box.

6. When the blue light starts flashing, tap the app to open. A Bluetooth Pairing Request pop-up opens.
   Note: If you are prompted to enter a Child Lock passcode when opening the app, enter the default passcode “4321”. To turn off Child Lock, go to the Settings screen in the app and tap the Child Lock button to turn it off.

7. Tap Pair in the Bluetooth Pairing Request pop-up. The control box will make an audible chime to indicate the base is paired.

8. The top of the screen shows Connected.

If the app does not connect, repeat the procedure. If base still does not pair:

1.  Close the app (double-tap the home screen, then swipe the app off the screen).
2. Go to Bluetooth Settings and “forget” or “unpair” the device.
3.  Return to Step 4 above (pairing) and complete the procedure.

POSITION SCREEN

1. Pillow – Slide the ‘PILLOW’ button up or down to adjust the pillow area of the adjustable base.

2. Head – Slide the ‘HEAD’ button up or down to raise or lower the head section of the adjustable base.

3. Lumbar – Slide the ‘LUMBAR’ button up or down to raise or lower the lumbar of the adjustable base.

4. Foot – Slide the ‘FOOT’ button up or down to raise or lower the foot section of the adjustable base.

5. Flat – With the head, lumbar, pillow, or foot raised, tapping the ‘FLAT’ button will lower the head, lumbar, pillow, and foot to the flat position.
   

6. Light – Tapping the ‘LIGHT’ button will turn the under-bed light on/off.

7.  Snore- The ‘SNORE’ button raises the head of the bed 7 degrees for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes the head of the bed will automatically lower to a flat position.
   Note: Tapping another button after tapping  SNORE cancels the timer and the bed will not automatically lower after 15 minutes.

MASSAGE SCREEN

1. Head Intensity (massage) – Tap the up arrow to turn on the massage and increase massage intensity. Tap the down arrow to decrease massage intensity and turn off the massage. There are 3 levels of massage intensity.
2. Foot Intensity (massage) – Tap the up arrow to turn on the massage and increase massage intensity. Tap the down arrow to decrease massage intensity and turn off the massage. There are 3 levels of massage intensity.
3. On / Off button – Turns on or off all massage motors. Note: When turned on, massage motors automatically turn off after 15 minutes.
4. Wave – The wave function increases and decreases the intensity between the head and foot massage motors with 4 levels of wave speed.

SETTINGS SCREEN

1. Child Lock – Slide to turn on/off the passcode for the app. Note: To keep the child lock active, when closing out of the app, close both apps on- screen and in background.
2. Change Passcode – Change the default passcode of “4321” to one of your choosing.
3 . Press and hold – In “PRESS AND HOLD” mode, tap and hold the button (flat or saved favorites) to move the base to the desired position. Note: Selecting “PRESS AND HOLD” will reset all Memory positions back to the factory default positions.
4 . Press and release – In “PRESS AND  RELEASE” mode, tap and release the button (flat or saved favorites) to move the base to the desired position.
5. Select Bed – Connect to the desired base in a King / Split Cal King setup.
6. Manual – Opens Owner’s Manual.

TIMER SCREEN

1. Timer – Sets a countdown timer to automatically adjust the base to one of the 4 saved favorites positions.
a. Open the Timer Settings box by tapping the Timer icon.
b. Scroll to set the number of hours and/or minutes.
c. Select position from the dropdown menu.
d. Tap Start Timer.
To cancel a timer after it has been set, tap the Timer icon, then press Stop Timer.

ALARM SCREEN

1. Alarm – Provides a “gentle wake up” – set the desired time and the massage motors will turn on and gently wake you up.
a. Open the Alarm Settings box by tapping the Alarm icon.
b. Scroll to enter the desired time to be gently woken up.
c. Tap Start Alarm. To cancel an alarm after it has been set, tap the Alarm icon, then tap Stop Alarm.

FAVORITE POSITIONS SCREEN

1. Favorite Positions – The base will automatically adjust to this position by tapping the Favorite Position name.
   a. Open the Favorite Positions box by tapping the Favorites icon .
   b. Tap Fave 1, Fave 2, Fave 3, or Snore to adjust the base to that saved position.

2. You can also reprogram and rename the 3 Favorite Positions.
   a. Adjust the base to the desired position.
   b. Open the Favorite Positions box by tapping the Favorites icon.
   c. Tap Edit.
   d. Tap Favorite Position to edit. The Enter  New Name field opens.
   e. Using keypad, clear existing name and enter new name inside entering New Name field. Tap Save to save the edits. Note: To cancel position override, tap Cancel.
   The Enter New Name field closes.
   f. Tap the Save on Favorite Positions window. The massage motors will buzz once.
   g. Within 5 seconds, tap the Favorite Position being edited. The massage motors will buzz three more times to indicate the position is saved.
   h. Repeat procedure for remaining favorites.

If the app does not connect, repeat the procedure. If base still does not pair:

1.  Disconnect the base from the wall outlet.
2. Go to your device settings.
3.  Go to Apps & Notifications.
4. Find the Prodigy CE app and tap it to open.
5. Tap “Storage”.
6. Tap “CLEAR CACHE” and then tap on “CLEAR DATA.” You will be prompted to delete the app data. Tap “OK.”
7.  Go back to devise settings and tap “Connected Devices”, then tap “Bluetooth”.
8. Under paired devices, find the Bluetooth ® device labeled “LP BED CONTROL” and tap “settings” on the right.
9.  Tap “forget” to forget the device.
10.  Go back to Step 4 above (pairing) and complete the procedure.

   c. Select position from the dropdown menu.
   d. Tap Start Timer. To cancel a timer after it has been set, tap the Sleep Timer icon, then tap Stop Timer.
