Operating instruction

Safety Notes

  • Do not short-circuit charger/power supply unit contacts!
  • Since batteries, chargers, and power supplies to heat up during charging, do not cover
  • The product is intended for private, non-commercial use only.
  • Do not operate the product outside the power limits given in the specifications.
  • The product is intended for indoor use only.
  • Do not use the product in the immediate vicinity of heaters or other heat sources or in direct sunlight.
  • Use the item only in moderate climatic conditions.
  • Do not use the product in areas where the use of electronic devices is not permitted.
  • Do not use the product in moist environments and avoid splashes.
  • Lay all cables so that they do not pose a tripping hazard.
  • Do not bend or crush the cable.
  • Protect the product from dirt, moistureand overheating, and only use it in an adry environment.
  • Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any major shocks.
  • Keep this product, like all electrical products, out of the reach of children!
  • Dispose of packaging material immediately according to locally applicable regulations.
  • Do not modify the product in any way. Doing so voids the warranty

Risk of electric shock

  • Do not open the device or continue to operate it if it becomes damaged.
  • Do not use the product if the AC adapter, the adapter cable, or the main cable are damaged.
  • Do not attempt to service or repair the product yourself. Leave any and all service work to qualified experts.

Getting started

Warning

  • Only operate the product from a socket that has been approved for the device. The socket must be installed close to the product and must be easily accessible.
  • Disconnect the product from the power supply using the On/Off switch –ifthis is not available, unplug the power cord from the socket.
  • If using a multi-socket power strip, make sure that the total power consumption of all connected devices does not exceed the power strip’s maximum throughput rating.
  • If you will not be using the product for a prolonged period, disconnect it from mains power.

Note for connecting the power supply unit to suitable terminal devices
Before connecting a terminal device, check whether the power output of the main supply can supply sufficient power for the device.

• Disconnect the product from the power supply after use.
• The charger is suitable for a mains voltage of 100-240 Vand can be used around the world. Please note that a country-specific adapter may be necessary.
• Youcan find an appropriate selection of Hama products at www.hama.com.
• Please refer to the instructions in the operating manual of your terminal device.
• Check the mechanical compatibility between the charger, connection cable, and terminal device beforeplugging it in.
• Connect the terminal device to be charged to the charger. The device should be switched off.
• Plug the charger into a power outlet.
• The terminal device will charge when switched off.

 Charging with mains connection
  • Plug the charger power supply unit into an approved and easily accessible electrical socket.
  • Disconnect all cable and mains connections after use.

Care and Maintenance

Note
Disconnect the device from the power supply before cleaning or if it will not be used for a long period of time.
