Start using your product

Step1:
Connect the iMageTech M6 Wireless Speakerphone System to the USB power supply (No.6); press and hold the “Power on key (No.1)” for three seconds to initiate your product.
Step2:
Press and hold the “pairing key (No.3)” for 3 seconds until the “Connection status indicator (white)” flashes quickly to start pairing with iMage A6 (A7); pair the S0, S1, S2, S3, S4, and S5 of iMage A6 (A7) in sequence; the latter is paired successfully when the connection status indicator lighted on. (Set your iMage A6 (A7) to Link mode in advance.)
Step3:
Select the audio source (Bluetooth, USB, video) according to the audio device you desire to connect; select Bluetooth mode for mobile devices including smartphone or tablet; select USB mode for desktop or notebook computer; select LINK (Line-in/Line-Out) mode along with a dedicated audio cable for video host or audio device.

Audio sources connection

You may connect the iMage M6 Wireless Speakerphone System to desired backend audio devices in Bluetooth, USB, video and expansion mode with the “Audio source switch key (No.1)”.

  • Bluetooth mode (blue light): Your iMage M6 enters the pairing mode once switched to Bluetooth mode; smartphone or tablet with Bluetooth mode enabled then can find and pair with your iMage M6 automatically.
  • USB mode: Connect your iMage M6 to PCs with USB cable and start using it.
  • LINK mode: See chapter “Video host connection guidelines” and “Wiring guidelines” for reference.
  • Expansion mode: Designed to use at site of greater space by serial connecting more iMage A6(A7) with iMage M6.

LED indicator connection status

To determine connection status of your iMage M6 based on the “Connection status indicator (white)”:

  • Pairing in progress: flashing quickly
  • Paired successfully: lighting up
  • No device connected: flashes once every 5 seconds

Notes

  • This product works only with slave device iMage A6 (A7).
  • To use this product successfully, the channel “S0” is required to connect to a slave device.
  • Connecting audio device in video mode requires engineer to wire and set up the system in advance; in case you encountered any problem when doing so, call engineers for service. ·
  • You may connect with an iMage A6 (A7) up to 20 meters apart if it is not blocked by a wall or other larger obstacles.
  • Your IMage M6 can be paired with up to 6 iMage A6 (A7) devices. When pairing for the first time, it is recommended to pair the next iMage A6 (A7) only after the last has been paired successfully.
  • It takes 30-45 seconds to pair iMage M6 with iMage A6 (A7) for the first time; after that it takes up to 10 seconds once powered on to pair each other successfully.
  • Wall/ceiling mount: Equipment mass ≤ 1kg mounted ≤ 2m

Statement

This product complies with the provisions of the low-power radio wave radiation Administrative Regulations Article XII-XIV etc.

  • Without permission granted by the DGT, any company, enterprise, or user is not allowed to change frequency, enhance transmitting power or alter original characteristic as well as performance to an approved low power radio-frequency devices.
  • The low power radio-frequency devices shall not influence aircraft security and interfere legal communications; If found, the user shall cease operating immediately until no interference is achieved.
  • The said legal communications means radio communications is operated in compliance with the Telecommunications Act.

Video host connection guidelines (Polycom Group, Radvision XT series)

Your iMage M6 Wireless Speakerphone System comes with video host cable set included to serial connect couple of commonly used video hosts (Polycom Group500, Radvision XT series). See illustration below for their wiring method along with required connection ports. Please have professional engineers do the wiring for you as invalid connection may result in malfunction of the system. See illustration below to serial connect your iMage M6 Wireless Speakerphone System with other video host or audio equipment models.

Note: The audio values and standards of different video hosts’ I/O ports may vary or require special signal converter for interface. Please refer to specification of devices to be connected for more information.
