  • THE MAINS PLUGS OR AN APPLIANCE COUPLER IS USED AS THE DISCONNECT DEVICE, AND THE DISCONNECT DEVISE SHALL REMAIN READILY OPERABLE

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

INSTALLATION
  • UNPACK ALL PARTS AND REMOVE PROTECTIVE MATERIAL.
  • DO NOT CONNECT THE UNIT TO THE MAINS BEFORE CHECKING THE MAINS VOLTAGE AND BEFORE ALL OTHER CONNECTIONS HAVE BEEN MADE.
  • DO NOT COVER ANY VENTS AND MAKE SURE THAT THERE IS A SPACE OF SEVERAL CENTIMETERS AROUND THE UNIT FOR VENTILATION.

CONNECTION

  1. CONNECT THE EXTERNAL POWER ADAPTOR WITH EXTERNAL POWER ADAPTOR SOCKET.
  2. PLUG THE UNIT INTO A SUITABLE MAINS SOCKET
  3. SWITCH ON THE TURNTABLE BY ON / OFF SWITCH.
OPERATION

INSTALL THE DUST COVER INTO HINGE ON THE UPPER CABINET.

  • SET THE TURNTABLE PLATTER ONTO THE CENTER SPINDLE.

  • PLACE THE SLIP MAT ON THE TURNTABLE PLATTER.

  • SLIDE WEIGHT-COUNTER ONTO THE TONEARM. TWIST IT LIGHTLY AND IT WILL SCREW INWARDS (COUNTER CLOCKWISE) ONTO THE REAR END OF THE TONEARM. EVERY FULL TURN OF THE SCALE RING REPRESENTS AROUND 5.0 GRAM (+/-0.5 GRAM).

  • FOR THE DEFAULT AUDIO-TECHNICA AT-3600L CARTRIDGE, TURN THE WEIGHT-COUNTER INWARD TILL THE SCALE RING AGAINST THE SCALE LINE ON THE REAR END OF THE TONEARM.

    HOLD THE WEIGHT-COUNTER WITH ONE HAND, TURN SCALE RING TO “0” AGAINST SCALE LINE ON THE SHAFT WITH ANOTHER HAND, BE SURE NOT TO TURN TOGETHER WITH THE WEIGHT-COUNTER.

  • AUDIO-TECHNICA AT-3600L CARTRIDGE NEEDS TRACKING FROCE AROUND 2.5 GRAM. TO REACH THIS
    TRACKING FORCE, TURN THE WEIGHT-COUNTER INWARD TILL “3” ON THE SCALE RING.

  • THERE IS TOLERANCE IN WEIGHT AROUND +/-0.5 GRAM. IF NECESSARY, TURNING THE WEIGHT COUNTER INWARD (COUNTER CLOCKWISE) CAN INCREASE THE TRACKING FORCE, WHILE TURNING THE WEIGHT COUNTER BACKWARD (CLOCKWISE) CAN DECREASE THE TRACKING FORCE.

  • FOR OTHER CARTRIDGE, USER CAN ADJUST THE TRACKING FORCE BY TURNING WEIGHT COUNTER INWARD OR BACKWARD.

LEVEL BALANCE ADJUSTMENT

  • SET THE ANTI-SKATE KNOB TO “0”.
  • HOLD THE HEADSHELL’S FINGER-LIFT WITH ONE HAND AND ACHIEVE “LEVEL BALANCE” BY TURNING
    THE WEIGHT-COUNTER EITHER CLOCKWISE OR COUNTER CLOCKWISE. “LEVEL BALANCE” MEANS THE TONEARM IS PARALLEL TO THE RECORD ON THE PLATTER, AND THAT THE TONEARM PIPE SHOULD NOT TILT TOWARDS THE WEIGHT-COUNTER SIDE OF THE HEADSHELL SIDE

TONEARM PROPERLY BALANCED:

WEIGHT COUNTER END IS TOO HEAVY, TURN THE WEIGHT COUNTER INWARD TO ADJUST

HEADSHELL END IS TOO HEAVY, TURN THE COUNTERWEIGHT BACKWARD TO ADJUST:

ANTI-SKATING ADJUSTMENT

TO ADJUST THE ANTI SKATING MECHANISM, TURNING THE ANTI-SKATE KNOB COUNTER CLOCKWISE CAN REACH 0 GRAM OF TRACKING FORCE. TURNING THE ANTI-SKATE KNOB CLOCKWISE CAN REACH 4 GRAM OF TRACKING FORCE. ADJUST THE ANTI-SKATING KNOB IN CASE OF NEEDLE SKATING.

PICKUP SELECTOR

  • PHONO / LINE SELECTOR IS LOCATED AT THE BACK PANEL.

  • SELECT “PHONO”, AUDIO SGINAL WILL BY PASS INTERNAL PRE-AMPLIFIER WITHOUT ANY PROCESSOR.
    THEN TURNTABLE HAS TO BE CONNECTED WITH EXTERNAL PRE-AMPLIFIER FOR MUSIC PLAYBACK.

  •  SELECT “LINE”, AUDIO SIGNAL WILL BE PROCESSED BY INTERNAL PRE-AMPLIFIER. TURNTABLE CAN BE DIRECTLY CONNECTED WITH ACTIVE SPEAKER FOR MUSIC PLAYBACK.

  • REMOVE THE STYLUS PROTECTOR.

  •  BE SURE THAT THE TONE ARM IS BEING DETACHED FROM THE TONE ARM REST PART BEFORE OPERATING AND RE-SECURED AGAIN AFTERWARDS.

  • PUSH THE LIFT LEVER UPWARD TO RAISE THE TONE ARM FROM THE ARM PARK, AND THEN SLOWLY MOVE IT TO THE RECORD SIDE, THE PLATTER WILL START TO ROTATE.

  • PUT THE LIFT LEVER DOWNWARD TO DROP THE TONE ARM AND TOUCH THE RECORD GENTLY. PHONO PLAYING STARTS NOW.

  • PUSH THE LIFT LEVER UPWARD TO RAISE THE TONE ARM FROM THE ARM PARK, NOW PLATTER WILL STILL BE ROTATING BUT PHONO PLAYING WILL STOP. TO CONTINUE THE PLAYING, THE USER NEEDS TO PUT DOWN THE LIFT LEVER.

  • 33RPM / 45RPM SPEED SWITCH: DEPENDING ON THE RECORD TO BE PLAYED TO SWITCH 33RPM OR 45RPM TURNTABLE PLAYBACK.

  • START / STOP SWTICH: STOP TURNTABLE FROM ROTATING OR RESUME TO WORK.

  • USE THE 45 RPM ADAPTOR IF REQUIRED.

  •  THERE IS AUTO RETURN ON/OFF BUTTON AT THE BACK PANEL TO SWITCH ON/OFF THE AUTO RETURN TONE ARM FUNCTION. IF THE AUTO RETURN FUNCTON IS ON, THE TONE ARM WILL RETURN AUTOMATICALLY AFTER THE PLAYBACK OF RECORD FINISHED.

  • TRIGGER THE EJECT SWITCH DURING RECORD PLAYING, TURNTABLE WILL STOP GENTLY AND TONE ARM WILL UTOMATICALLY RETURN TO THE TONE ARM REST PART.

  • SINCE THERE ARE NUMEROUS VINYL MAUFACTURERS, WE DO NOT GUARANTEE AUTO RETURN
    FUNCTION IS APPLICABLE ON ALL VINYL. IF THE TONEARM CANNOT RETURN AUTOMATICALLY, PLEASE TRIGGER THE EJECT SWITCH TO ACTIVATE AUTO RETURN

REMOVE THE CABLE PROTECTIVE CAP UNDER THE HEADSHELL IF END USER TAKES OUT THE WHOLE CARTRIDGE:

LINE OUT SOCKET

  • THIS SYSTEM CAN BE CONNECTED WITH EXTERNAL DEVICE (EG. ACTIVE AMPLIFIER AND SPEAKER) BY RCA LINE-OUT SOCKET AT REAR CABINET.
  • CONNECT EXTERNAL DEVICE (EG. ACTIVE AMPLIFIER AND MIXER) WITH GROUND LEAD IF NECESSARY.

DIGITALIZING TURNTABLE INTO COMPUTER

  1. CONNECT THE PRODUCT TO A COMPUTER VIA THE USB CABLE
  2. USER CAN FIND FURTHER INFORMATION ON THE SOFTWARE FUNCITONS IN THE HELP MENU AND IN THE OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS OF THE SOFTWARE. THERE ARE AVAILABLE AT THE FOLLOWING LINKS: http://www.audacity.com/

BLUETOOTH TRANSMITTER

  • THIS SYSTEM CAN BE CONNECTED WITH EXTERNAL BLUETOOTH SPEAKER FOR WIRELESS MUSIC PLAYBACK.
  • SWITCH TO LINE SELECTOR AT THE BACK PANEL.
  • PRESS BT ON/OFF BUTTON AT THE BACK PANEL TO CONTROL THE BLUETOOTH TRANSMITTER FUNCTION, THE BUTTON IS A LIGHT INDICATOR AND WILL SHOW BELOW:
  • BT PAIRING INDICATOR FLASHING: READY TO CONNECT WITH EXTERNAL BLUETOOTH SPEAKER.
  • BT PAIRING INDICATOR STAY ON: ALREADY CONNECTED WITH EXTERNAL BLUETOOTH SPEAKER.
  • BT PAIRING INDICATOR OFF: DISCONNECTED WITH EXTERNAL BLUETOOTH SPEAKER.
  • SINCE THERE ARE NUMEROUS BLUETOOTH SOLUTION, WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THIS TURNTABLE CAN SUPPORT ALL BLUETOOTH SPEAKER FROM EVERY MANUFACTURERS. IN CASE THERE IS ANY EXTERNAL BLUETOOTH SPEAKER CANNOT BE CONNECTED, PLEASE TRY ANOTHER BLUETOOTH SPEAKER AGAIN. OR
    CONNECT THIS TURNTABLE WITH WIRED SPEAKER FOR MUSIC PLAYBACK.

ENERGY SAVING

IF THERE IS NO AUDIO SIGNAL FROM TURNTABLE FOR OVER AROUND 10 MINUTUES, THE UNIT
WILL AUTOMATICALLY SWITCH TO STANBY MODE FOR ENERGY SAVING.
