IMPORTANT Cautions:

When using electrical products, especially when children are present, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
(READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING).

1. Unplug it from outlet when not in use.

2. Do not allow it to be used as a toy. Close supervision is necessary when it is used by, on, or near children.

3. Use it only as described in this manual.

4. Do not use it with damaged cable or USB inlet.

5. Do not pull USB cable around sharp edges or corners. Keep cable away from heated surfaces.

6. Do not use it while sleeping or drowsy.

7. Do not expose it to any form of water, use it outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.

8. Turn off all controls before unplugging.

9. It is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, or children, unless they have been given
   supervision or instruction.

10. To reduce the risk of excessive ultraviolet radiation, do not initiate the sterilize function when the lid is not closed fitly. This lid is provided with an interlock at two angles.

Points to note:

• Original power cable is recommended. Other cables may lower the performance of sterilizer.
• Areas not exposed to the UV light will not be sterilized.
• The sterilization effect on the areas of an item can differ depending on the amount of UV radiation exposure, distance from the light source, and other factors.
• In terms of sterilizing effect, the area of an item that is touching the bottom surface of the sterilizer is lower than other areas.
• When the lid is opened, sterilization does not take place. Yet the adjustment of wireless charging panel does not interfere the sterilization process.
• Place the electronic device at the charging panel with the touch screen facing up, and body superimposing the charging coil, marked by the “flash” logo, for an optimal charging efficiency.
• Wireless charging function could be undermined when protective case is not removed from smartphone.
• Avoid direct contact with UV lamp as exposure to it can be harmful. Prevent your eyes from contacting with the UV light directly.
• Keep the case away from water and heat sources.
• Watch your fingers from getting pinched when closing the cover.

Warnings:

Operation is subject to the following two conditions:

1. This device may not cause harmful interference;
2. This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

This equipment may generates radio frequency energy and may cause harmful interference to radio communications. There is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If it
causes suspected interference to radio or television reception, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
• Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
• Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
• Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

The user is cautioned that changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
The equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. During the operation of device a distance of 15 cm surrounding the device and 20cm above the top surface of the device must be respected.
This device complies with Part 18 of the FCC Rules. This equipment generates uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of thefollowing measures:

• Increase the separation between the equipment and any other radio device.
• Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.

Quick Guide:

UV disinfection

1. Use the USB Type C cable to power on the UV disinfecting case.
2. Press the “sweetch” i.e. disinfection switch button. UV disinfection starts as the indicator lights red.
3. Switch between the default swift mode (5mins) or deep mode (10mins) by pressing the “sweetch” for 3 seconds.
4. In swift sterilization mode, indicator shows breathing red as sterilization is in progress, then stays still in red upon completion of disinfection.
5. In deep sterilization mode, indicator shows breathing white as sterilization is in progress, then stays still in white upon completion of disinfection.
   Auto power-off function.
   When the lid is opened during sterilization, sterilization stops automatically. Sterilization works only when the cover is closed.

Wireless charging

1. A 9V-2A input is required for simultaneous sterilization plus charging. Use the provided USB type-C cable to connect UV disinfecting case with 9V-2A power adapter.
2. Place the electronic device which supports wireless charging at the adjustable wireless charging panel with the touch screen facing up and body superimposing the charging coil, which is marked by the “flash” logo.
3. Adjust the panel angle for different devices, i.e. the bigger the device, the straighter the angle.
4. Indicator shows blue as charging is in progress, then lights out upon completion.
5. Actual charging speed may also vary depending on usage, charging conditions and other factors. Charging continues even when disinfection completes.

Application scope

1. Smartphones and tablets, which supports wireless charging, with screen length below 31cm, width below 22cm and mass below 0.8kg.
2.  Watches are not supported. (Alternatively, they are supported by wired charging via USB output port of the case.)

Magnetic open/close lid

1.  When closing the case, the magnetic lid gives airtight closure and a stable feel.
2. When opening the case, the magnetic lid, connected by the lid-support hinge, stays open when no external force is being applied.
3. The soft hinge and rubber stopper presents a smooth touch to the user.
