Sealing Vacuum bags

  • The bag width may not exceed 11.81Inch. Otherwise it cannot be welded correctly.
  • Use only nylon-PE films with a structure (points or grooves) on one side and that have a structure(points or grooves) on one side and a thickness of approximately 0.006 -0.012 inch(6.8- 11.6mil).Otherwise the weld seam will not be tight and the appliance may be damaged. You can recognize bags of this type from the information on the packaging. The quality of the weld seam will vary depending on the type and thickness of the bag.
  • Cut the desired length for your bag from the roll. Open the appliance lid by pressing the lid release and open the lid up wards .Lay the open end of the bag as far into the appliance so that the opening of the bag is located central under the lower sealing ring. The bag should be inserted no further than the behind sealing ring and must lie between the front sealing ring. If the bag lies over one or both of the two sealing ring, then the bag cannot be correctly welded.
  • The bag opening must lie flat on the welding wire. Otherwise the welding does not  work properly. Close the appliance lid. The press seal presses the bag onto the welding wire, to create a smooth seam. Ensure that both corners of the appliance lid closed. If necessary, press the upper cover again and so that the appliance lid clicks into place and locks tightly. Press the Food button Mode Selection. If the choice is dry, the dry indicator will light on. If the moist is chosen, the moist indicator will light on.
  • Ensure that the weld seam is properly closed. A correct weld seam should be a smooth, straight stripe without any creases.
  • Fill the bag so that no food scraps or liquids can leak out during welding and get int the appliance.
  • Wait 15 seconds before sealing the next bag to allow the appliance to cool down.

Trouble shooting

Serial number| Abnormal phenomena| Cause of failure| Way of troubleshooting
---|---|---|---
1| Unsealed| The left and right latches are not locked tightly, the bag sealing area is uneven (black sealing cotton/loose layering, the black tape is wrinkled), the machine does not start heating.| Press black seal foam/layering, black tape, clean the upper and lower sealing areas with a dry cloth, lock the buttons on both sides and seal.
2| Air pump works, but does not pump the air| Air leakage (bag broken, sealing foam off/uneven(comes with indentation), bag opening not cut and smooth, bag opening not placed inside the exhaust cavity, bag opening wrinkled/over- lapped, bag being filled too full or bag pre-seal width insufficient, and the non-vacuum machine is used for packing bags).| Use the packaging bag suitable for vacuum machine to keep the opening of the bag smooth and without damage; open the cover to flatten the sealing cotton, turn over to the other side, or replace the substitute bags. relocate the opening of the bag to the required position, keep the opening of the bag smooth, reserve enough sealing width on one side   of the opening (generally about 8cm), and then put down the cover to lock the left and right buttons.
3| Vacuum without sealing| Air leakage and incomplete evacuation.| Select the bag whose size meets the requirements of the product, and press “no pumping” to confirm the fault removal.
4| Incomplete sealing| Uneven heat-generating compo- nents, bag opening creases/over- laps.| Clean/keep the surface of the sealing area clean and smooth, and keep the bag opening flat.
5| Seal melt through| The bag is not suitable for a vacuum packaging machine, the adhesive tape attached on the surface of the heating component falls off/is damaged, and the sealer is not suitable for wet pumping.| Choose suitable packaging bags for vacuum packers, choose dry/wet mode according to the type of seal, keep the seal area clean/adhesive tape intact (damage need to be replaced).
6| Slow vacuum| The size of the selected bag is too large, air leakage.| Choose the bag whose size meets the requirements of the product.
7| Machine protection removed (Light flashing in moist/dry mode)| In order to use the product better, the machine is equipped with automatic protection mechanism (temperature sensing).| When the product protection is reached/ approached by several consecutive uses, uncover the top lid, place the product in the cooler for 5~15 minutes before use (detailed evacuation/sealing operation requirements can be found in the product manual).
