This manual takes H6 for example, to explain how to install, set up, and use the control system as well as the use of the accessories. We recommend that you read these instructions carefully before using the instrument.

Interface

★LED indicator: it will be on when charging the controller battery.
★Touch screen: capacitive touch screen, multi-touch.
★Microphone: to record voice.
★Keypad: H6 has 50 keys.

★Camera: 13MP AF, to take photos and videos.
★Flash: flash during taking photos and videos, or use as a flashlight.
★NFC: to connect with GNSS receivers faster.
★Type-C interface: to change H6 battery, data transfer with PC and OTG functions.
★SIM card slots: H6 has two nano-sim card slots.
★Speaker: to send alerts or voice.
★Wristband: a nylon band.

★Fn: function key, to switch between Number and mark keys.
★Number/marks: the number and mark keys.
★APP/menu: quickly click this key to open the SOUTH EGStar app, long press this key to show the menu.
★Store point: when using the SOUTH EGStar app, click this store point key can quickly store a point.
★UDLR: up/down/left/right keys.
★Enter: to confirm.
★backspace: to delete what you’ve input.
★Return/Home: quickly click this key to return/go back, long press this key to back to the H6 Home page.
★letter: English letters keys.
★A/a: to switch between capital letters and lowercase.
★power: quickly click this key to turn on/off-screen, long-press this key to turn on/off H6 controller.
★blank: bland keys.

Basic operations

4.1 Turn on/power off H6 controller
Long press the Power key to turn on/power off H6
4.2 Controller battery and charging
H6 has an internal unmovable 9200mAh battery, please do not disassemble it. Using an adapter and USB-Type-C cable line to charge the controller. If not used H6 for a long time, please charge it once every two months.
4.3 Wi-Fi connection

4.4 SIM card
Put a nano-sim card to H6, after that you need to restart H6 to enable the sim card.

4.5 connection with computer
Connect H6 to PC through a Type-C USB cable line, go to H6 settings > connected devices > USB > Transfer files.

PC will install the driver automatically,

4.6 H6 controller register
Open the Register app, input the registration code for this H6 controller.

    This Mobile operating terminal meets the government’s requirements for exposure to radio waves.
    The guidelines are based on standards that were developed by independent scientific organizations through periodic and thorough evaluations of scientific studies. The standards include a substantial safety margin designed to assure the safety of all persons regardless of age or health. FCC RF Exposure Information and Statement the SAR  limit of USA (FCC) is 1.6 W/kg averaged over one gram of tissue. Device types: Mobile operating terminal has also been tested against this SAR limit. This device was tested for typical body-worn operations with the back of the Mobile operating terminal kept 10mm from the body. To maintain compliance with FCC RF exposure requirements, use accessories that maintain a 10mm separation distance between the user’s body and the back of the Mobile operating terminal. The use of belt clips, holsters, and similar accessories should not contain metallic components in its assembly. The use of accessories that do not satisfy these requirements may not comply with  FCC RF exposure requirements and should be avoided.
