Assembly

– During assembly, ensure that the power cord does not fall off.
– Only use the adapter provided in the package. Using a 3rd party adapter may cause damage to the product.

Caution

– While the POGME is in use, make sure that your pet does not lick or chew the power cord. Active current can be lethal to pets.
– POGME must be used with a pad in order to prevent low-temperature burns. The device could be dangerous if it is used without a pad.

Operation Instruction

Important safety instructions
– Before connecting to power and you begin using POGME, carefully read the guideline and safety instructions written in the user manual, on the product and the power adapter.
– Users should always adhere to basic safety instructions when using electrical devices like the POGME.
Warning
To minimize risks of fire, electrification, and other injuries, obey the following instructions:

For the safe use of POGME, children and persons with weak physical, sensory, and perceptive abilities, as well as those with insufficient experience and knowledge about the product, should not use POGME smart scale adaptor or any product made by 10pple unless managed or instructed by a reliable experienced person.
Do not play with POGME like it is a toy. Extra care must be provided when POGME needs to be used by a child or around a child.
Do not use POGME outdoors, in bathrooms, or at a swimming pool in any case. Do not use POGME or its adaptor on wet floors. Do not expose POGME to high humidity, rain, or snow.
Do not use or charge POGME when the power cable is damaged. In a case in which POGME or the adapter malfunctions, is damaged by severe shock, was left unattended outdoors, or left in water, stop using the product immediately and contact customer support.
Do not disconnect the power by pulling the cable. Hold the connector head and gently pull it out. Otherwise, the product can become damaged.
When the product is not in use for an extended period, please disconnect the power. Store the power cord safely to prevent the power cord from being stepped on or trampled upon.
Do not try to stretch or apply excessive tension to the cord. Keep it away from hot surfaces.
Do not handle POGME, its adapter, or the connector head with wet hands.
Avoid the back of POGME from making contact with water or any kind of fluid. Do not use bleach, Clorox, or soak the product in water for cleaning purposes.
Avoid contact with your pet’s tongue, fur, paw, or any other part of your pet’s body with the connecting part of the power cord on the back of the product.
Do not place POGME on high shelves or unstable ground.
Do not use the product near flammable or combustible compounds such as gasoline. Do not place the product close to heat sources such as heaters or fireplaces.
Keep the product away from flames or smoke emitting objects such as cigarettes, a match, or unextinguished ash.
Do not use POGME when it is not placed in a setting that is appropriate for proper operation.
Use POGME only as instructed in the user manual. Use only the parts or replacement parts recommended by 10pple.
In case customer service or repair is required, please contact customer support. Do not disassemble POGME. An incorrect reassemble may cause electrification or explosion.
Use POGME adapter only for operating POGME and use POGME only with POGME adapter. Third-party adapters may cause malfunction, explosion, and injuries.
Unplug the adapter from the outlet before cleaning or maintaining your POGME.
Do not plug POGME adapters into extension cables or multi-outlet extension cords.
Do not dispose of POGME by incinerating, even if it is severely damaged. Putting POGME and the adapter into the fire can cause an explosion.
Keep the LCD screen clean from the pet’s urine, saliva or water.
Do not place pointed or heavy objects exceeding 10kg on POGME.
Use POGME only for pets.
Do not use POGME in conjunction with other companies products. Do not establish a communication connection between POGME and the appliances of other companies.
Read this manual carefully and keep it with you in case you need to reference it for operation.
POGME is designed only for general home use.
Do not discard the package box. The product must be packed in original packing for its warranty to remain valid and claimed.
Once the seal on the packaging of the POGME product has been broken, there can be no refund, return, or exchange due to a change of mind.
Always use POGME with a cushion

Instructions on how to use POGME

1) Confirm contents of the POGME package
First, check whether the following components are included in the POGME package:

POGME smart scale× 1.
POGME adapter × 1.
user manual × 1.

2) Power connection and start using

Connect the adapter to the back of the product and then connect it to a power source.
When successfully connected, you will hear the sound “meow, wow, ten people!” (Sound may vary depending on product version).
The LCD screen will display “HELLO” when POGME comes on.
3) Initial Operation
Once connected to power, the heating mode will be automatically activated and will begin constant heating.
Weight sensors will automatically calibrate to zero point, indicating 00.0Kg.
4) Operating buttons

Double-tap button 1 (□): Turn on/off constant heating mode.
Single tap button 1 (□): Average body weight will be displayed.
Double-tap button 2 (△): Turn on/off the music.
Single tap button 2 (△): Daily usage time will be displayed.
Double-tap button 3 (○): Turn on/off automatic heating mode. On automatic heating mode, POGME will automatically start heating when your pet steps on it. (over 10g of pressure will activate it).
Single tap button 3 (○): Your pet’s body weight will be displayed
Double-tap button 4 (▽): Zero-point calibration. The current weight on POGME will be set as 0.00Kg
Single tap button 1+2 (□+△): You can pre-set your pet’s body weight.
Single tap button 3+4 (○+▽): Time setting mode. Press △, ▽ buttons to adjust the time. When connected to your mobile app, time will be automatically synchronized to your phone).
Single tap button 1+2+3+4 (□+○+△+▽): Factory reset. Do not use this mode unless it is absolutely necessary. All bodyweight settings will be lost and POGME will be unable to measure weights accurately.

5) Turning on Constant Heating mode

Double-tap button 1 (□), and you will hear a notification sound. The constant heating mode icon will turn on and start blinking.
At the same time, the LCD screen will display the temperature and will blink as well.
When both the constant heating mode icon and the LCD screen are blinking, adjust the temperature by tapping buttons 2 (△) and 4 (▽).
Temperature can be set up to 50°C (122°F).
After that, wait until the LCD screen blinks 4 to 5 times and displays “SAVED” with a notification sound.

6) Turning off constant heating mode.

Double-tap button 1 (□), and you will hear a notification sound. The LCD screen will display blinking “OFF”.
Wait until the letters on the LCD screen blink 4 to 5 times and display “SAVED” with a notification sound. Constant heating mode is off now.
IMPORTANT: Heating will automatically stop when the surface gets hotter than the preset temperature, and it will start again when the surface becomes cooler than the preset temperature.

7)Turning on automatic heating mode.

Double-tap button 3 (○), and you will hear a notification sound. The automatic heating mode icon will turn on and will start blinking. Also, the numbers on the LCD screen will start blinking showing the preset temperature.
When you see the automatic heating mode icon blinking, adjust to your ideal temperature using either △, ▽ button.
After that, wait until the numbers on the LCD screen blinks 4 to 5 times and display “SAVED” with a notification sound.
Important: In case you have more than one pet at your house, Automatic heating mode will only recognize the registered ones.

8)Turning off automatic heating mode.

Double-tap button 3 (○), and you will hear a notification sound. The LCD screen will display blinking “OFF”.
Wait until the letters on the LCD screen blinks 4 to 5 times and display “SAVED” with a notification sound.

9) Turning on healing music.

Double-tap button 2 (△), and the music will start playing with an LCD screen displaying “PLAY”.
While the LCD screen displays “PLAY” for about 4 to 5 seconds, you can adjust the volume by tapping △, ▽ buttons.
The volume level will be displayed on the LCD screen on a scale of 1 to 9.
After that, wait for the LCD screen to blink 4 to 5 times and display basic information.

10) Turning off healing music

Double-tap button 2 (△), and the music will stop playing with the LCD screen displaying “STOP”.
When you see the “STOP” sign on the LCD screen, wait until it blinks 4 to 5 times and displays basic information.

11) Calibrating zero point

Double-tap button 4 (▽), and the LCD screen will display “SET” with a notification sound.
Wait for about 1 to 2 seconds until the LCD displays “INIT” and starts blinking.
Now, POGME will recognize all the weight on it as zero point including cushions or toys. (Important. Do not touch POGME
when the LCD screen displays INIT).
Wait for about 2 to 3 seconds until the LCD screen displays basic information.

12) Registering pet’s body weight

Tap buttons 1 and 2 (□+△) together, and the LCD screen will display “SET” with a notification sound.
Wait for about 1 to 2 seconds until the display changes from “SET” to numbers and starts to blink.
Then put your pet on POGME and the bodyweight will be automatically registered.
When properly registered, the LCD screen will display basic information in 2 to 3 seconds.

Important:

Bodyweight registration is required in order to distinguish between sleeping time and relaxing time.
In order to use automatic heating mode via your mobile device, the pet’s body weight must be registered. In case you have more than one pet, only registered pets will activate the heating.
In order to use health care mode, the pet’s body weight must be registered. In case your pet needs health care mode, only the registered pets’ health data will be collected.
In case you need to register the body weights of more than one pet, POGME may not distinguish them if their body weights are less than 1kg apart.
When registering your pet’s body weight, keep off your hands or another subject for proper sensing. Otherwise, POGME may sense the wrong weight and may not function appropriately.

13) Time Setting

Tap buttons 3 and 4 (○+▽) together, and the number indicating the hour will start blinking with a notification sound.
Set hours by tapping △, ▽ buttons.
Tap button 1 (□) and the number indicating minutes will start blinking.
Set minutes by tapping △, ▽ buttons.
When completed, tap buttons 3 and 4 (○+▽) together again and the LCD screen will display “SAVED”.
Wait for about 2 to 3 seconds until you see basic information on the LCD screen.
Important: When POGME is connected to your smartphone, time will be automatically synchronized with your phone.

14) Checking average body weight.

Tap button 1 (□), and the LCD screen will display “A” (as average) and the average body weight with a notification sound.
Wait until the LCD screen switches back to basic information in about 3 seconds.

15) Checking daily usage time

Tap button 2 (△), and the LCD screen will display daily usage time with a notification sound.
Wait until the LCD screen switches back to basic information in about 3 seconds.
Important: Daily usage time will be reset at midnight every day.

Checking registered body weight.
· Tap button 3 (○), and the LCD screen will display “S” (as setting) and the registered bodyweight with a notification sound.
· Wait until the LCD screen switches back to basic information in about 3 seconds.

17) Factory reset

It is strongly recommended not to use this function.
Press all buttons (□+○+△+▽) at the same time and the LCD screen will display “FAC” and the device will reset to factory
settings.
Important
When you see random numbers showing on the LCD screen, it is part of reset finding the optimal setting. It may take a while depending on the situation.
Do not put other subjects on POGME when resetting.
Only perform a factory reset on flat and stable ground.

Note

“POGME” has built-in Bluetooth connectivity, so you can receive various information when connected with your mobile device.
In the future, in combination with the Broad System, you can remote control POGME with your mobile device from anywhere at any time, receive various information, and connect with multiple AI speakers.
When reconnecting POGME to a power source after being disconnected, all data such as temperature setting, time setting, and daily usage time will be reset. The initial setup must be done again.

Using “POGME”

Warnings
– When using “POGME” at different locations, always calibrate to zero point again.
– POGME should be operated only by people who can ensure safety.
– POGME should be operated only on a firm, level, and stable place. If not, bodyweight sensing may not be accurate. When storing, do not put heavy objects on POGME, do not place them on unstable spots in an upright position.
– Ensure to turn off heating before disconnecting power.
– While power is on, do not use it outdoors or on a wet floor. Do not use bleach or other chemicals to remove contamination.
It can cause electrical shock.
– If you need to clean, repair or fix POGME, comply with the instructions in this manual or the instructions provided by 10pple customer support.
– Do not disassemble, repair or fix POGME, differently from the instruction in this manual or provided by 10pple customer support.
– POGME was designed for pets and in-house use only. Do not use it for other purposes.
– Do not put objects, persons, pets over 19kg, pointed subjects, hard subjects, toys, and other electronic devices on POGME. It can damage the weight sensor or external structure.
– Most parts of POGME are made of plastic. Use soft cloths to remove smudges or other contamination.
– Stop using POGME immediately if a major crack or hole is found.
– Do not apply excessive pressure to prevent damage to the product.
– POGME will automatically stop when internal thermal wires are overheated. Before using it again, cool it off at least for an hour and stop using it if overheating occurs frequently.
– If your pet is too small or is less than a month old, its body weight may not be accurately sensed.
– For accurate weight measurement, pets must stay at the center of POGME.
– Frequently check if all four rubber protrusions (cat’s paw shape) are in place.
– Before placing POGME, make sure the spot is firm, level, dry and free of cracks. Only the four cat paws support should touch the ground.
– On soft, unstable surfaces such as beds, carpets, or blankets, weight sensing may be inaccurate.
– Keep POGME indoors. Do not store or use POGME in an environment under 3°C (37.4°F).
– Due to the nature of the product, the upper surface may turn brown from heating.

Accessories

1) Using cushions (not included)

To prevent low-temperature thermal burns, place cushions or blankets of sufficient thickness. Direct contact with POGME may cause low-temperature burns.
Turn off POGME before installing authentic cushions produced by 10pple.
When using dome-shaped cushions, fix it securely with POGME. Do not use POGME with loose dome-shaped cushions on it.
Frequently check if cushions are properly placed on POGME. If the cushion is not correctly placed, POGME may not function properly.
Do not place wet cushions on POGME. Also, do not alter the original POGME cushion. Do not use contaminated cushions.
Make sure the cushion is properly aligned, not to cover the LCD screen.
Calibrate zero points with the cushion placed on POGME so that POGME can accurately measure your pet’s body weight.
Regularly wash Original POGME cushion to prevent stain or smudge. Dry cleaning is recommended. In the case of hand washing, use liquid detergent or wool detergent and dry with natural drying.
1. Using remote control palm allow (not included)
Point the original 10pple remote controller straight at the LCD screen of POGME.
If the LCD screen is covered or the remote controller is not facing the LCD screen directly, the remote may not work.
Performance may reduce from a distance of 2.5m(8ft) or more. Use the remote within close range.
Do not cover the screen on the upper part of the remote control. Avoid deformation or contamination. Use a dry cloth to wipe out any kind of contamination on the screen.
Do not use the remote with wet or dirty hands. It may cause malfunction.
Do not point the laser from the remote controller at people or pets’ eyes. It could cause damage to the eyes.
Do not put the remote controller into a dishwasher, washer, dryer, oven, or microwave.
Do not put the remote close to the fire.
When not in use for a long time, remove the battery from the remote controller. If there is any form of a liquid leak from the battery, avoid contact with the liquid.
Do not apply excessive force or disassemble the remote controller.

Using with mobile devices

To connect POGME with your mobile device, use only the mobile application developed by 10pple.
POGME uses Bluetooth connectivity. Stay within 7m(10ft) range to control POGME via mobile app. In case there are
obstacles blocking the signal, the range may reduce.
If someone has the 10pple mobile app within the operational range, that person can control your POGME as well. Place your POGME against a thick wall or where it can’t be reached by a stranger.
POGME mobile app enables you to review your pet’s health-related information and share it with veterinarians via SNS.
All data shown on POGME mobile app are based on the data collected from POGME and the result may not be accurate.
In case you encounter any abnormal conditions or situations, consult your veterinarian.
When the Broad System comes into service, you can control POGME via wifi connection from anywhere, at any time.

Cleaning POGME

Before cleaning, turn off your POGME and disconnect it from the adapter or battery.
Use a dry cloth when cleaning POGME
Reconnect adapter or battery after cleaning is completed.
Before using again, make sure all parts and components are properly reassembled.
Do not apply chemicals such as lubricant, cleaners, polisher, or fragrance.

Storing POGME

When storing, disassemble the adapter and keep them in the original packaging. Do not put heavy objects on POGME, do not place them on unstable spots in an upright position.
Avoid exposure to direct sunlight. Store it in a place where it is dry, well-ventilated, cool, stays under 40°C during hot seasons, and is free from the risk of fire.
Before using POGME, check if it was stored in an ideal place as stated above.

Safety instruction for the adapter

Use only the authentic adapter included in the package. Using a 3 party adapter may cause malfunction and is not covered by warranty.

Warranty policy

In accordance with the warranty policy, POGME’s warranty provides repairs for your POGME smart scale, including parts replacement, for one year from the date of purchase.
In case of any inquiries about your POGME product, please contact customer support with your serial number, date, and place of purchase ready. Your serial number can be found on the panel on the back of POGME.
You must register the serial number via email. It will prove your ownership in case of an insurance claim and allow you to receive notification for important issues.
Warranty cannot be guaranteed in case serial numbers and basic information are not registered.

Warranty Policy Terms
Term of warranty: one-year limited warranty

In case the product is found to be defective in workmanship, material, or functionally, within one year from the date of purchase or delivery, depending on 10pple’s discretion, you might be qualified for replacement of the product or part. In case of obsolescence, interchangeable parts with equivalent functionality will be provided.
Warranty will only be applied within the territory of the country of purchase.
You must provide your serial number by email and provide proof of purchase or shipping (original documents, all pertinent documents, and original package boxes) prior to making a claim for the repair of your POGME under warranty.

Warranty exclusions
• Warranty does not apply in the following cases.

Wears caused by normal usage. i.e. browning, LCD screen damage, reset clip damage, etc.
Accidental damage or malfunction caused by incompliant careless use, abusive use, neglectful actions, or incautious operation or handling.
When used for any purpose other than general home use.
Assembling or installation is incompliant with the manual.
Use of unauthentic parts or components.
Wrongful installation or storage.
Repair or modification performed by unauthorized parties.

Warranty Summary

Warranty is valid for one year from the date of purchase or delivery (if the delivery comes later). Serial number registration via email is required for a valid warranty.
All maintenance work will be done by 10pple or authorized dealers.
All replaced parts belong to 10pple and must be returned.
Repair or replacement under warranty would not extend the term of the warranty.
The warranty provides additional benefits and does not affect your legal rights as a consumer.
The warranty benefits are voluntarily offered by 10pple in addition to, and not instead of, the rights provided by consumer law and it does not add, exclude, limit or suspend a buyer’s rights arising from consumer law.
