Uventx UE28 UVC Air Purification

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS READ AND FOLLOW ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1. This equipment is designed for use with germicidal UV radiation sources and must be installed in compliance with competent technical directions to prevent risk of personal injury from UV radiation.

2. UV radiation can pose a risk of personal injury. Overexposure can result in damage to eyes and bare skin. To reduce the risk of overexposure this equipment must be installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s site planning recommendations. This may include instructions on the relative location of each germicidal system component, the minimum distances between UV generating devices and other objects or surfaces, and protection from line-of-sight exposure to UV radiation in occupied spaces located above the equipment mounting
   area (e.g. upper floor balconies, open staircases, etc.)

3. UV and optical radiation can be reflected by surrounding surfaces such as ceilings and walls.
   Since the reflective properties of surfaces can vary widely, it should be considered as part of site planning. Follow the manufacturer’s recommendations for selecting appropriate ceiling and wall finishes.

4. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE INSTALLER TO ENSURE THAT PERSONS WILL NOT BE EXPOSED TO EXCESSIVE UV OR OPTICAL RADIATION DURING EQUIPMENT OPERATION.
   THIS WILL REQUIRE THE INSTALLER TO CONDUCT AN ASSESSMENT OF IRRADIANCE OR ILLUMINANCE LEVELS IN THE SURROUNDING OCCUPIED SPACES PRIOR TO OCCUPANCY.

5. Equipment should be mounted in locations and at heights where it will not readily be subjected to tampering by unauthorized personnel.

6. Maintenance and servicing of this UV generating equipment shall be performed by authorized personnel. Service personnel must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) if the equipment will be in operation during the maintenance or servicing work. Contact the equipment manufacturer for PPE recommendations and guidance.

7. When replacing lamps, replace them only with the lamps for which the equipment is marked and intended.
   Note: Item g applies only to equipment with user-replaceable lamps.

8. The use of accessory equipment not recommended by the manufacturer may cause an unsafe condition.

9. Do not use this equipment other than intended use.

Read this instruction carefully before installation. Keep it for further reference. Make electrical and grounded connections in accordance with the national electrical code and any applicable code. Always turn off the power supply before installation. This product must be installed in accordance with the applicable installation code by a qualified electrician who is familiar with the construction and operation of the product and the hazards involved.
This equipment must be installed and operated in accordance with provided instructions and the antenna(s) used for this transmitter must be installed to provide a separation distance of at least 20 cm from all persons and must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter

Installation Precautions

1. Please read the product specifications carefully to determine whether the operating environment meets the conditions on the specifications before use;
2. To ensure the service life and appearance of this product, please handle it gently;
3. This product will heat up when it is working, so do not cover anything on the lamp;
4. This product is not waterproof, this lamp is only suitable for indoor use.
5. Avoid installation in places with high-grade hot steam and corrosive gas at the heat source, so as not to affect the service life;

Mounting Accessories

Installation

1. Turn off the power.
   

2. Turn off the power.

3. Use screws to fix the wire rope fixing seat on the ceiling, and tighten the wire rope on the fixing seat.

4. Adjust the length of the sling

5. Hang the lamp on the wire hook

6. Use a screwdriver to loosen the screws of the junction box cover for wiring, and reset the junction box cover after wiring.

7. Insert the same type of electronic wire into the same quick connector to form a parallel circuit

8. Tighten the wires in the quick connector, as shown in the figure below.

The installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician

WARNING:
When maintaining the lamp, make sure to disconnect the power supply to prevent electric shock. It must be operated by professional technicians. Non- professionals should not disassemble the lamp;
Please wear gloves when disassembling the germicidal lamp;

1. As shown in the figure above, remove screw A, pull the buckle C away from the hook, lift up the upper cover B and remove it; after installing the ultraviolet germicidal lamp, reinstall the upper cover B in the reverse step.
2. Align the pin of the lamp tube with the socket of the lamp holder and insert it to the end, press the lamp tail down into the buckle. When disassembling the lamp tube, first unplug the lamp holder from the lamp holder, and then take out the lamp tail from the buckle.

Air filter cotton installation and removal

1. As shown in the figure below, remove the grille fixing screws and remove the grille. Please pay attention to the grille safety rope.
2. Open the Spring buckle F, pull out the Filter cotton G to both sides and replace it; After replacing the filter, reinstall the lamp in the reverse step and turn on the power to confirm that the lamp is working normally;
