Important Safety Instructions

Please read and understand all instructions before using this device. Don’t change any settings that are not described in this manual. Warranty does not apply if personal injury, data loss or damage occurs as a result of failure to follow instructions.

WARNING

  • To reduce the risk of fire and/or electric shock, do not expose the device to rain or moisture, or objects filled with liquids, such as vases, should not be placed on the device.
  • To prevent overheating, do not block or clog the ventilation openings.
  • Never place the device in a confined space. Always leave enough space around the device for ventilation.
  • Do not place the device in areas susceptible to excessive dust and dirt or near any appliance generating a strong magnetic field.
  • Protect the device against direct sunlight heat, large temperature fluctuations, and moisture.
  • When the device runs for a long period of time and surface becomes hot, shut it down and unplug the power cord. Resume operation only after the device has cooled.
  • Always handle the device with care. Avoid touching the lens.
  • Never place heavy or sharp objects on the device or the power cord.
  • To avoid electric shock, do not disassemble.
  • Only use attachments or accessories specified by the manufacturer.
  • Avoid extreme vibration. It may damage the internal components.
  • Do not allow children to handle the device without supervision.

Getting Started

  • Placement
    Place projector on a flat, stable foundation squarely in front of the projection surface.
    For best results, the projection surface shall be white and flat.
    The distance between this projector and the projection surface must be a minimum of 1.2 meters (38 inches ).

  • Select projection distance
    The distance between this projector and the projection surface determines the approximate size of the image.

  • Power on
    Connect this projector to the outlet by using the provided power cord and adapter.

  • Remove the lens cover.

  • Please the power button on the projector or on the remote control once.

  • Turn this projector towards a flat, white projection surface.

  • To focus the image, rotate the lens.

Overview Of Projector’s Homepage

Select “HD” and press “Enter”, play from HDMI playback devices.
Select “AV” and press “Enter”, play from AV playback devices.
This projector can be connected to various HDMI playback devices such as a TV box, TV stick, DVD player, set-top box(STB), gaming console or other devices.
To play from HDMI playback devices: Connect this projector to an HDMI playback device with an HDMI cable.

Select “Movie” or “Music” or “Photo” and press “Enter”, play from a USB drive.

To play from a USB drive:

  • Insert a USB drive into the USB socket;
  • Select “Movie” or “Music” or “Photo” and press “Enter” on Homepage;
  • Select a file, then press “Enter”, this projector will play the video or music, or display the photo you selected;

After entering “Movie”, only videos are supported. After entering “Photo”, only pictures are supported. After entering “Music”, only music is supported.

For iOS devices:

  • Connect your iOS drives to this projector using a USB cable(not included) to ensure that the connection with USB multimedia interface.
  • Click “trust” on your device at the first time;
  • Select “Screen Mirroring” and press “Enter”;
  • Select “iOS Screen” and press “Enter”;
  • This projector will mirror the screen of the connected drives.

For iOS devices:

  • Select “Screen Mirroring” and press “Enter”;
  • Select “iOS Screen” and press “Enter”;
  • On your iOS device, turn on WLAN and connect to “projector -XXXXX” (device name is random), password:12345678;
  • Access control center and turn on screen mirroring.

For Android devices:
( Note: Android devices, must have built-in Wireless Projection / Multi- Screen function)

  • Select “Screen Mirroring” and press “Enter”;
  • Select “Android Screen” and press “Enter”;
  • On your Android devices, turn on WLAN and the screen mirroring

Note:

  • The specific point can refer to the corresponding interface text description.
  • After entering “Screen Mirroring”, press the “Source” button on the remote control, then select “Media” to return to the homepa ge.

Setting

Turn on the projector, select “Setting” and press “Enter”.
It includes 4 categories: “PICTURE”, “SOUND”, “TIME”, “OPTION”.

  • “PICTURE” includes 3 categories: Picture Mode, Color Temperature, Aspect Ratio.
  • “SOUND” includes 1 category: Sound Mode.
  • “TIME” includes 1 category: Sleep Timer.
  • “OPTION” includes 5 categories: OSD language, Restore Factory

Default, Flip, OSD Duration, Software Update(USB).

Upgrading the Firmware

  • Download the firmware upgrade software with a USB drive from the seller;
  • Insert the USB drive into this projector’s USB port;
  • Select “Software Update(USB)” and press “Enter”;
  • The firmware upgrade will automatically begin.

Upgrading the Firmware

To play from external devices

  • Use a 3.5mm audio cable (not provided) to connect your headphones or external speakers;
  • Connect the other end of the cable to the audio out port on this projector;
  • You will hear audio from external devices;
  • When connected to external speakers, the built-in speaker system is disabled.

Under the following conditions, a layer of moisture can appear inside the device which can lead to malfunctions.

  • If the device is moved from a cold to a warm area.
  • After a cold room is heated.
  • When the device is placed in a damp room. To avoid any moisture, seal the device in a plastic bag.

Power Supply

  • Power off the device before removing the power supply from the socket.
  • Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from this device.
  • Unplug this device if there are lightning storms or when unused for a long period of time.
  • Where the mains plug or an appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable. Before you make or change any connections, ensure that all devices are disconnected from the power outlet.
  • Never touch the power cable or the power connection with wet hands.

Hearing Safety
To avoid hearing damage, do not listen for extended periods at high volume. Set the volume at a safe level.

Cleaning

  • Power off the device and remove it from the power supply before cleaning the surface.
  • Use a soft, lint-free cloth. Never use liquid, gaseous, or easily flammable cleansers (like sprays, abrasives, polishes, and alcohol).
  • Do not use any liquid cleaning agents to clean the lens as they may damage the protective coating on the lens.
  • Wipe the surfaces gently. Be careful that you do not scratch the surfaces.
  • Use lens clean paper to clean the lens of this projector.

Repairs

  • Do not make any repairs to the device yourself.
  • Improper maintenance can result in injuries or damage to the device.
  • Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.

Caution: Do not stare at the operating beam. The bright light may hurt your eyes.

Safety Instructions

  • The air inlet/outlet/lens should be well ventilated when the projector is working, to avoid device damage, fire explosions.
  • Do not drop projector from high falling.
  • Do not put any hazards into the accessories.
  • Do not open the projector, please contact with the professional person for assistant.
  • Do not use the projector at below situation: Wet, dusty, smoky places, or it may pollute optical elements, reduce product life, and the projection image will be dark.
  • Keep minimum (50mm) space around the appliance for optimal ventilation.
  • The places where the temperature is above 40 ·c .
