Part Names

Charging

1. Open the micro USB input port cover on the main unit and connect the micro USB terminal of the included charging cable.
2. Connect the USB-A terminal of the charging cable to the PC or connect the charging cable to a USB AC adapter (not included) and connect the adapter to a wall socket. 3
3. The multi-indicator lights are red during charging.

• The multi-indicator turns blue when the battery is fully charged.
• Charging time is about 1.5 hours (it may take longer for the first charge). 4. When charging is completed, disconnect the charging cable. If the battery is not used for a long time, it will be discharged and deteriorate, so charge the device about once every three months.

Power on / Power off

If you long-press the power button (3 seconds), the announcement “Power on” will be heard and the power will turn on.
If you long-press the power button again (3 seconds), the announcement “Power off” will be heard and the power will be turned off.

How to wear earphones properly

Wear the earphone with the “L” marking on the left side and the earphone with the “R” marking (with operation buttons) on the right side, with the neckband running behind your head.

Do not push the bone conduction actuator section strongly with your finger.

Pairing with a Bluetooth device

To connect with a Bluetooth-enabled device, you need to perform pairing only once first. How to enable (turn on) the Bluetooth setting function of a Bluetooth-compatible device in advance and the connection procedure.

1. Long-press the power button (3 seconds) to turn on the power.

• If the power does not turn on, please charge the unit.
• When the power is turned on, the multi-indicator blinks red and blue alternately. If the paired device cannot be found, it will automatically enter pairing mode. Pairing mode is also activated when the power is turned on by pressing the power button for 5 seconds or longer. *If you do nothing in the pairing mode, the power will turn off automatically in about 5 minutes, so please complete the pairing by then. 2. Pairing (device registration) with a Bluetooth-compatible device (pairing mode) Select “cheers TouchBone” displayed on the screen of the Bluetooth-enabled device. When the connection is completed, the announcement “Connecting” will be played, the peering will be completed, and the multi-indicator will blink blue.

Play audio with Bluetooth connection

1. Connect the Bluetooth device.

• If the last paired Bluetooth-enabled device is nearby and powered on, simply take off earphones from the charging case and they will automatically reconnect with the device.
• When the Bluetooth device is turned off or goes out of the range of Bluetooth, the pairing is released, followed by “Disconnected” and “Pairing” sounds, and the multi indicator flash alternately red and blue to indicate the pairing mode. In this case, pairing may not be performed properly even if the power of the Bluetooth device is turned off and on or the device is within range of Bluetooth. In that case, turn the power off and then on again. 2. Operate this unit or a Bluetooth-compatible device to play the sound.
• When the battery runs out, it is announced by “Battery low” sound, so please re-charge the unit.
• In this state, the earphones can still be used for several minutes, but when the battery level becomes low, the power will be turned off automatically with the announcement of “Power off’.

Playback operation

If the Bluetooth device supports AVRCP, you can perform the following operations from this unit.

Talking hands-free

If the Bluetooth-compatible device supports HFP such as a mobile phone or smartphone, the multi-indicator will blink blue when you receive a call, and you will hear a call sound from the earphones. At this time, the following operations can be performed from the main unit :

• Single-click: Answer phone calls when the call comes in. If you are in a call, a single click will end it.
• Double-click: Redials to the last call made or the place where the call came.
  • Long press (for 1 second): Decline a call.
• If you receive a call while playing audio, the audio will be muted and you will hear the call sound. When you end the call, it will be unmuted and the audio will resume.
• Call sounds are usually also heard on mobile phones and smartphones. If you don’t want to hear the call sound from them, set it to silent mode. Even in that case, you can hear the call sound from the earphones.

Other functions

Long-press the power button for 2 seconds and you will hear a beeping sound. When you release it, a voice assistant (such as Apple’s Siri or Google’s assistant) will start.
If there is a song being played, it will be paused.
Long-press again for 2 seconds to end the voice assistant.

Battery Disposal

Troubleshooting

Cleaning the product
