Introduction

The SOL-X SmartWatch, SW-EX-01 is an intrinsically safe device and is suitable for use in potentially explosive atmospheres classified Zone 1 and Zone 2 (Subgroups IIA, IIB and IIC; Temperature Classes T1-T4), such as maritime industry, industrial plants, oil and gas facilities and etc. SOL-X SmartWatch has the capability for wireless communication with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz, Bluetooth 4.2 and 5.1, ambient environment sensors and motion sensors, etc.

Quick Start Guide

Turn On/Off and Restart

  1. Press the Power Button for 3 seconds to turn on the device.
  2. Press the Power Button for 3 seconds to select to Turn Off or Restart the device.

Home Page

  1. Short click the Power Button to back the Application
    Home Page when it is running.

  2. Short click the Power Button to switch off the screen when it is on the Home Page.

OLED Screen

  1. Swipe Right/Left.
  2. Click/Press.

Alert

Hold the Alert Button for 3 seconds to request assistance.

Charger

  • USB Charger includes a Power Adapter and 4 types of plugs.
  • Attach a proper plug to the Power Adapter as required.

Charge Watch

  1. Plug the USB-C cable to the Charging Dock.
  2. Plug the other side of the cable (USB-A) to the Power Adapter, ensure the green indicator LED is On.
  3. Place the Watch on the Dock and make sure the Charging Icon is showing on the Watch Display.

Replace Strap

  1. Push the Watch on the right side to take out it from the Strap.
  2. Push back the Watch to a new Strap.
    Wearing Device
    Wear the device on your wrist appropriately, it should be snug but comfortable to keep the reading of the heart rate sensor on its back more accurate.

  4. FCC Radiation Exposure Statement
    This device complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment and it also complies with Part 15 of the FCC RF Rules. The unit of measurement for RF exposure is Specific Absorption Rate (SAR). The FCC SAR limits for mobile device is 1.6W/Kg per 1g of tissue.

Safety Warnings and Regulations

  • ONLY charge devices in non-hazardous area.
  • ONLY charge devices indoor within 5°C~40°C.
  • ONLY use the original and SOL-X authorised accessories.
  • DO NOT remove or attempt to remove the built-in rechargeable Lithium-ion battery.
  • DO NOT expose the device or battery to fire, flame, or other hazards.
  • Damaged devices and accessories shall be removed from the end user and organized properly, e.g.:
    • Critical error occurs.
    • The device with component missing.
    • The device housing is damaged.
    • The device has been stored improperly.
  • The device may not be exposed to any aggressive acids, alkalis, or other corrasive gases and liquids.
  • The device may only be used in Zone 1 and Zone 2.

Maintenance

  • It is recommended to use a suitable soft cloth to clean the devices regularly.
  • DO NOT use any abrasive cleaning agents when cleaning.
  • DO NOT insert sharp objects into the microphone, buzzer, or temperature & humidity sensor opening holes on the Watch. Any damages caused may impact the performance of the dustproof and waterproof functionality.

Transportation and Storage

  • Avoid severe shock and vibration and take waterproof measures during transportation.

  • The storage environment shail be well-ventilated with no liquid leak.

  • The temperature shall be within -40°C to +85°C and the
    Humidity shall not exceed 95% in the storage environment.

  • No corrosive gases around where the Watch is stored.
