How to get the Touch Thermostat online on a DG store

Objective 1: To guide our customers to troubleshoot the offline thermostats
Requirements:
- Site supervisor
- Touch thermostat
Procedure:

Check the wiring for COM port 3 of the Site supervisor. Ask if there is a wire without insulation? That wire should be connected to the chassis ground. Take note of the color of the wires that are used for positive and negative terminals of the controller.

Next, would be to connect the touch Thermostat on a daisy chain. From COM port 3 to the first touch Thermostat it should be on a reverse polarity.

After linking the Site Supervisor to the first touch Thermostat, the next step is to connect the first Thermostat to the second Thermostat. The positive terminal of the first thermostat should be wired going to the positive terminal of the second thermostat. The shielded wires of each thermostat should be twisted together and put a wire nut on it, and do not connect that to the thermostat.

The Duct sensor wire should be connected to the IN3 of the touch Thermostat and the other leg should be on the GND.

Remove the screen plate of the thermostat and take note of the version.

Put the screen back to the thermostat. If the version is V106, tap the little man in the bottom right corner until the screen changes. If the version is V107, press and hold the little man until the screen changes.

Checkmark after the parameters:
AD = Address
BR = baud rate
SC = type of thermostat (should be 1, but if a heat pump is used change it to 2)
Home Screen
Version Screen (example V107) For version V107, the parameters below have been added:
HS = heat stages
CS = cool stages
✓ Press the checkmark and the Touch Thermostat will reboot.
✓ Go to the next thermostat on the daisy chain and do the same sequence.
- On the last thermostat, the shielded wire is cut off and the DIP Switch #2 must be in the UP position.
