Distance guide

Ceiling mount

If installed against a wall, make sure to leave enough space for the curtain folds. Leave the same distance in double track installations to avoid blocking the carrier movements.

x: 1.5 to 3.0 inches
4.0 to 7.5 cm

Wall mount

Make sure to leave enough space for the curtain folds.
y: 1.0 to 1.5 inches
3.0 to 4.0 cm

Mounting on different kinds of materials

Attention: Each wall and ceiling material requires a specific type of mounting screws which may not be included in this kit. Consult your local hardware store if you are not sure which is appropriate for you.

Anchoring guide

Drywall Mounting

If mounting onto drywall at maximum extension with max weight, it is recommended to use 2 mounts a on each side equally spaced with 1 mount b in the middle.

If mounting onto drywall with the minimum extension, it is recommended to use at least 4 mounts b , one on each end and 2 equally spaced from the ends.

Note: Any length in between the max and minimum extension will require a mix of mounts a and b.

Stud Mounting

If mounted to a wood beam or stud at maximum extension, 1 mount a on each side and 2 mounts a closer to the center, a total 4 mounts a will be sufficient.

If mounted to a wood beam or stud at minimum extension, it is recommended 3 mounts b , one on each side and one at the center.

Caution

The number of ceiling mounts will vary depending on the extended length of the track, the weight of the fabric to be used as well as the surface being mounted on.
It is perfectly acceptable to use all the supplied ceiling mounts.

Installation

Installation Figure 1

1. Loosen the two screws located on the left carrier, then open both latches located at the right and left ends of the track.

Installation Figure 2

2. Extend the track to the desired length. It’s recommended to extend the track at least 25cm (10in) past each side of the window. Lock the left and right latches.
Note: If you decide to change the length of the track, ensure to redo steps 1 and 2 to avoid any gaps at the end of the tracks.

Installation Figure 3

3. Move the left and right carries to their end position and tighten the two screws in the eft carrier.

Installation Figure 4

4. Measure the length of the exposed belt and cut the plastic debris cover to the proper size. Then, snap on the debris cover over the exposed belt. Keep the remaining cover in case the track will need to be extended in the future.

Installation Figure 5

5. Mounts should be placed about 50cm (20in) apart or at the same spacing between studs or beams of your construction. Keeps mounts at least from  1cm(6/16in) of each end side of the track, but no more than 2cm(13/16in). For more information, please refer to the anchoring guide section below.

Installation Figure 6

6. Insert the mount on the track at an angle of 45 degree, then turn it counterclockwise until it is perpendicular to the track. Repeat this process until all mounts necessary to the installation are in place. Tighten the middle screws of mounts b.

7. Count how many hooks you need to hang one curtain panel. Insert the same quantity minus 3 of J-rollers in each side of the track. Place one fixed  roller at each end of the track.
