WIRELESS OUTDOOR SENSOR
- Battery compartment
INITlAL OPERATION
- Remove the battery compartment cover on the back of the weather station and insert 2 AA batteries (not included). Follow the correct polarity during installation. Close the battery compartment.
- Once the batteries are inserted, all the icons on the LCD screen will light up for approx. 3 seconds and an audible signal will sound. The weather st.ation will then detect and display the indoor temperature and humidity.
- Open the wireless external sensor battery compartment and insert 2 AM batteries (not included) with the correct polarity.
- The weather station will start the connection process with the external sensor. This process takes about 3 minutes and a flashing RF antenna symbol appears.
- Once the connection of the weather station to the external sensor is completed, the indications of external temperature, humidity and the channel number will be displayed on the screen.
NOTE: The weather station can be connected to up to three external sensors (3 different channels).
SETTINGS
- Push and hold the button for 2 seconds the 12/24 hour mode display will start to flash. Now use and buttons to set the correct 12/24 hour mode. Push to confirm your setting.
NOTE:
- During the setup process, press the “SNOOZE / LIGHT” key to exit the setting menu.
- After 10 seconds without pressing any key, the clock switches automatically from Set Mode to Normal Time Mode.
- In the setting menu, press and hold the” or keys to quickly change the value setting.
ALARM SETTING
Follow the below steps to set the daily alarm:
- Push the “ALARM” button once to enter the alarm setting mode ((the alarm icon appears on the indoor unit screen).
- Press and hold “ALARM” button for 2 seconds until alarm time hour display starts to flash.
- Use the” ” and ” ” buttons to set the required hour and push “ “to confirm your setting.
- The Minute display starts to flash. Use the” ” and “ ” buttons to set the minute and to confirm your setting.
- The setup process is complete. The clock will switch to clock mode.
NOTE:
- During the setup process, press the “SNOOZE I LIGHT” button to exit the setting menu.
- After 10 seconds without pushing any button the clock switches automatically from setting mode to normal clock mode.
- The alarm will sound for 2 minutes if you do not deactivate it by pushing any button. In this case the alarm will be repeated automatically after 24 hours.
- The alarm will sound continuously for 2 minutes if you do not turn it off by pressing any button. In this case the alarm will be repeated automatically after 24 hours.
- The alarm sound changes volume during ringing (crescendo: 1 minute).
- While the alarm is ringing, press any button except the SNOOZE” / LIGHT button or press and hold the SNOOZE” / LIGHT button for 2 seconds to deactivate the alarm.
SNOOZE FUNCTION
- While the alarm is ringing, touch the SNOOZE” / LIGHT” button once to activate the snooze function. With the snooze function, the alarm is postponed for 5 minutes, at which point the ringing will be repeated.
- When snooze mode is enabled, press any button except the SNOOZE” / LIGHT” button or touch the SNOOZE” / LIGHT” button for at least 2 seconds to exit the snooze mode.
OUTDOOR SENSOR TRANSMISSION
- 1. When the weather station successfully receives signals from the wireless sensor, the outdoor temperature and humidity are displayed on the LCD display of the indoor unit.
- The weather station can be connected up to max. 3 wireless channel sensors (one on each channel). Each wireless sensor must emit in a different channel.
- Press the key to select the channel of your choice. When the icon appears on the screen, the channels will switch automatically every 5 seconds.
- If the weather station fails to receive transmission from outdoor sensor (0- -“display on the LCD), push button to select the desired channel manua11rHand the corresponding channel indicator icon will start to flash to the screen. Press and hold button for 3 seconds. The RF antenna symbol will flash and the indoor unit will receive the external sensor signal again.
TEMPERATURE / HUMIDITY DETEION
- The indoor temperature range is 0°C (+32″F) to +S0°C ( +122°F). If the temperature indicator is below the measurable range of the appliance, “LL.L” is displayed. If the temperature is bigger, “HH.H” is displayed.
- The outdoor temperature range is -40°C (-40°F) to + 70°C ( + 158°F). If the temperature indicator is below the measurable range of the appliance, “LL.L” is displayed. If the temperature indicator is bigger, “HH.H” is displayed.
- The range of indoor and outdoor temperature values is 20% RH “‘ 95% RH. If the humidity indicator is below 20% RH, u19% RH” is displayed. If the humidity indicator is above 95% RH, “96% RH” is displayed.
MAXIMUM/MINIMUM TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY
To toggle indoor/outdoor maximum, minimum temperature and humidity data, push the button:
- Once to show the maximum temperature and humidity values.
- Twice to sow the minimum temperature and humidity values.
- Three times to return to the current temperature and humidity levels.
- To reset the maximum and minimum temperature and humidity, push and hold down the button about 3 seconds. This will reset all minimum and maximum data recorded to the current displayed values.
NOTE: If the temperature reading is below range, the LL.L will be displayed. If the temperature reading is above range, the HH.H will be displayed.
WEATHER FORECAST
Weather forecast icons that may be displayed on the base station:
The weather symbols indicate
the weather forecast over the next 12 hours and not the current weather
conditions.
NOTE :
- Please note the weather forecast from your local weather forecasting service into account as well as the forecast from your weather station. If there are discrepancies between the information from your device and from the local weather forecasting service, please take the advice of the latter as authoritative.
- The weather forecast is based on the evaluation of fluctuations in the barometric pressure and may deviate from the actual weather conditions.
COMFORT LEVEL
• Dry atmosphere (when the humidity is below 40%.)
• Comfort atmosphere level (when the temperature is between 20-25″C and the humidity between 40 to 70%)
• Wet atmosphere (when the humidity is above 70%)
NOTE: When the humidity level is between 40-70% and the temperature is not between 20″C – 25″C, the comfort level icon will not appear.
BACKGROUND LIGHTING
Press the “SNOOZE / LIGHT” button briefly to turn on the backlight for 8
seconds.
STORAGE
- Before storing the device, remove the batteries from the weather station and the external sensor.
- Always store the device in a safe and clean place. For the best protection of the device, store it in its original packaging.
