Installation

Install two AA batteries into the back of the
ClicSmart Controller “Ensure you have the correct style for your switch type -
Download the free Clic Smart App from the Google Play or Apple App Store onto your phone

Launch the ClicSmart App and walk through the simple installation
“You may be asked to update your firmware. Please accept this update and stay within 20 feet of your ClicSmart, making sure your phone is on during the whole process and the opp is open -
Snap ClicSmart over your light switch, ensuring that the “top” sticker is feeing up and the light switch and the Switch Slim are in the “on/.A. TOP position”. Magnets inside the ClicSmart hold it in place!
Troubleshooting
Q: My ClicSmart Controller or Connect Plug is not automatically deteded during
setup
A: Check to moke sure the device’s Blue LED is blinkingbefore trying to odd
the Device. If you still experience difficulties, try the following steps to
odd monuolly:
- In the App, seled the + Icon to add devices
- Select the device you’re trying to add (ClicSmart Controller or ClicSmart Connect Plug)
- Follow the on-screen instrudions to odd the device monuolly
Q: I am having trouble connecting my ClicSmart or Connect to my smartphone
A: Different phones may behave differently when connecting to ClicSmart. When
experiencing difficulties, try the following steps:
- Close the ClicSmart App completely, even from the background and restart the opp – try to connect
- Turn Bluetooth off and then on, and make sure you’re conneded to WiFi – try to connect
- Reset the ClicSmart Controller by taking the botteries out and putting them back in – try to connect
- Reset the ClicSmart Conned Plug by unplugging it and plugging it back in – try to connect
Q: I cannot control my ClicSmart Controller remotelyor am having issues with
Google Homa/ Alexa
A: For your ClicSmarl Controller to gain remote occess (including Google Home/
Alexa), it MUST be linked to your ClicSmart Connect Plug and your ClicSmart
Controller must be within Bluetooth range (20-30 feet) of your Conned Plug.
Ensure your devices ore paired by following the previous steps for connecting
your
ClicSmart Controller and Connect Plug. For further help troubleshooting please
