How to Install Door Hooks (FIG 1)
- Peel away the weatherstrip on the door frame.
- Place the door hook on the stiffener.
- Put the weather strip back in place.
- Close the door.
A car without Roof Rack
- Inspect the cargo bag for any missing straps or damage. Make sure the straps and buckles are intact.
- Clean the car roof, and then place the anti-slip mat on the roof.
- Place the empty cargo bag on the mat. Always face the side with brand “FRUNO” towards the FRONT of the car.
- Open the bag and load cargo into the bag. Place heavy, large objects in first. This may require a partner to help you. Continue loading lighter items on the top and creating a compact load.
- Close the zipper and fold the flap to completely cover the entire zipper. Use hook & loop taps to hold the flap in place.
- Install the door hooks.
- Pass the 4 straps on both sides through the loops on door hooks and buckle the straps. Alternately tighten straps until they can’t be tightened anymore. (FIG 2)
- Use hook & loop cinch straps to tie off the 4 excess straps in front and behind to prevent the straps from flapping while driving. (FIG 3)
- If the cargo bag is not full, use the 2 lashing straps to further secure your cargo bag. Pass both ends of each lashing strap through the loops on door hooks and fasten the lashing straps. Then tighten them. (FIG 4)
- Do not set off unless you ensure the bag is secured to the car tightly and with not fall down.
Car with Side Rails
- Inspect cargo bags for any missing straps or damage. Make sure the straps and buckles are intact.
- Clean the car roof, and then place the anti-slip mat on the roof.

- Clean the car roof, and then place the anti-slip mat on the roof.
- Place the empty cargo bag on the mat.
