Operating Instructions

1. Video mode
   When the charger is connected, select video mode the recorder will start recording automatically and the indicator light will be on or flashing.

2. Photo mode
   When the charger is connected press the mode key to select photo mode (in video mode stop recording first when then select photo mode) and press the OK key to take pictures.

3. Preview /playback mode
   When the charger is connected press mode key to select preview playback mode, press up/down button to select photo or video and press OK to play or strop. Press the mode key to exit the preview mode.

4. Menu setting function
   In the video/photo/preview playback mode, press the menu key to enter the menu settings and after setting press the menu key to exit the menu.

5. Motion detection function
   In the setting menu select Motion detection and select to turn on the motion detection function. After setting is completed exit the menu When an object is moving in front of the dash cam recording will be started automatically the object stops moving recording will stop automatically and Motion detection is on the standby mode. To exit Motion detection mode it must be turned off from the menu.

6. Gravity sensing function
   In the setting menu select gravity sensor option and press the OK key to Enter. Select high/medium/low sensitivity for vehicle impact by an external force and the dash cam will automatically lock the collision sensing video preventing from being erased.

7. Screen saver
   In the setting menu select Screen Saver option and press the OK key to enter. There are 1/3/5/10 minutes screen off time and the screen will automatically turn off after the set time is reached. The machine is still working after it is turned off. To cancel screen saver press any key.

8. Date time setting
   In the setting menu [date / time] option, press the Enter key to set the date and time.

9. GPS driving track
   The driving recorder equipped with GPS module (built-in/external) has the function of checking the driving track and can be connected View it in two ways.
   Method 1: Download RoadCam APP on mobile phone;
   Method 2: Download GPSPlayer on computer,
   For details, follow the instructions of the fifth item “Playing GPS driving tracks”

APP connection

1. Scan the QR code, download the “Road Cam” APP or search in each application market “Road Cam” is downloaded and installed on your smart device.

2. Connect to WIFI

3. Connect to the wireless WIFI “Ruien_DVR”, the initial password is: 12345678

4. Click the APP icon to enter the application

5. Enter the main interface, click to connect the “Ruien_DVR”

6. Function Introduction of Road Cam

7. [Videos] –Tachograph video list which can be viewed and download.

8. [Photos] –Tachograph photo list which can be viewed and download.

9. [ Snap ]–Click to take pictures.

10. [ Settings] –Menu function settings

11. [Stop recording] –Click to start or stop recorder recording

12. GPS track playing
    5.1 Mobile APP playback
    In the APP recording interface, click on the device video to enter the video storage interface, click to select the desired Play the GPS video file, and then click the arrow below to download.
    
    After the download is complete, disconnect the mobile WIFI, click “Album” on the APP entry interface to enter the localVideo storage interface, click to play the file, enter the playback interface, click in the playback window can play the driving track.

Installation diagram

It is recommended to fix and paste the driving recorder on the front windshield on the back of the rearview mirror.

The specific installation steps are as follows:

1. Choose the installation position on the glass and clean it;
2. Install the supporting bracket of the recorder and tear off and install the suction cup or 3M glue protective film.
3. Install the power cord as as shown.
