Can’t view live video on the Peztio APP.

The cellular data will cause the live feed not to be viewed. Please disable the “Peztio” cellular data of your cellphone. For Latest iOS System: Setting—)Peztio—Click “Wireless Data” —Select “WLAN” .
For Older iOS System: Setting–>Peztio—Disable the “Cellular Data”.

My car camera is showing “Memory Error” or no saved ” videos in loop nothing at all.

Make sure you are using the recommended, CLASS 10, U3 Speed, and 128GB in card size or lower. Otherwise you will get notice of a malfunction or inserted improperly, recommended SD card for Q2 (support up to 128 GB): please go to amazon.com search: BO9B13FY24/amazon.co.uk search: B085FGMQS6.

Unable to connect to my Mobile phone? Will not recognize Wi-Fi and does not show up on the list?

Please kindly reset the dashcam by using the needle in package to insert the “R” hole for 5-10 seconds. And make sure you select the correct WiFi name: PeztioQ2****.lf it is still not work, please kindly contact us as soon as possible.

About This Manual

Whether you need to guard drivers’ safety, record certain driving moments, or keep an eye on the car, Galphi is here to help. This user manual describes the device’s functions and features in detail. Please read this manual before using the device to ensure safe and proper use. Note that all descriptions included here are based on the device’s default settings.

Main Function

a. 2K Ultra-clear Video

Q2 can record videos up to 2K (25604440)-30fps. We suggest you choose a high- speed SD card (Class 10 or UHS type 3) with large storage space. Q2 can support a SD card up to 128GB.

b. Built-in WiFi Module
Transfer your dash cam recordings to your smartphone or tablet over Wi-Fi using Peztio app. You can view a live preview of the dash cam, start/stop recording, as well as view and save your captures with your mobile device.

c. Super Night Vision
The combination of F1.8 aperture and WDR technology enhances the clarity of images. Q2 makes night shots brighter and prevents overexposure under strong light environment.

d. Loop Recording
The Loop recording video can be set the timing 1 min, 2 mins or 3 mins. Video will be continually recorded in segments. It will overwrite the oldest unprotected video with the lasted footage, make space for your memory card.

e. Parking Mode

In order to achieve this function, please purchase the hardwire kit (not included in package). Go to amazon.com search BO9JC1CS48(recommended). Q2 will automatically record 24h parking time when the Parking Mode is on.

f. Voice Broadcast

Q2 will broadcast voice prompt while some specific function is successfully turned on, these voice broadcast functions are:

  • Stop Recording -Start Recording
  • SD Card Error -Please Inset the SD Card
  • Please Format the SD Card
  • Format complete
  • Restore factory settings
  • Video Locked
  • Picture Success
    If the voice broadcast is annoying, you can modify the voice volume or turn it off via Peztio APP.

Getting Started

INSTALLATION

Please follow the instructions below for the first-time installation of the Dash Cam.

Step 1: Inserting the Memory Card

The Q2 accepts Micro SD memory cards (Class 10 or UHS type 3) with a maximum capacity of 128GB. Please use a branded SD card, some cards may not be compatible with your device. Using an incompatible card may damage the device or the memory card or corrupt the data stored on it.

  1. Insert the card in the orientation shown.
  2. Push the card into the slot, listening for a click sound signaling the card is securely inserted.
  3. When you remove the SD card, Q2 will prompts “Please Insert the SD Card’

Step 2: IMPORTANT: Formatting a Memory Card

Before you start using a new memory card, you must format the SD card via Peztio APP firstly.
(***It is useless to format the SD card on the PC/computer for the first time.)

How to Format the SD card via Peztio APP

a. Connect the Q2 with Peztio app through WiFi. (More details please see below 7.2)
b. Enter the camera setting and choose the “Format SD Card”. c. Format SD card succeed.

Step 3: Installing the Camera onto the Windshield

Installing the Camera onto the Windshield

  1. Clean the windshield using water, and a lint-free cloth. The windshield must be free of dust, wax, oils, or coatings.

  2. Remove the protective film from the mount adhesive.

  3. Position the mount over the mounting location. The ideal installation position is in the middle of the windshield.

  4. Press the mount firmly onto the windshield, and maintain pressure for 10 seconds.

  5. Please adjust the angle of the dash cam by rotating the suction stand. To make sure the dash cam captures the full video, please connect to the app and adjust the dash cam angle according to the live time video display. (Please refer to Part 7.3 for specific steps)

Step 4: Turning the Device On or Off

  1. The Q2 will switch on or off automatically if you keep it connected using the car charger. The camera will automatically start recording when it is powered on. After the power is disconnected. the device will shut down immediately.
  2. Short press POWER button to Start/Stop Recording. To Restore factory settings, long press and hold the POWER button for 10 seconds.

NOTE: When open the Peztio app for the first time, please make sure authorize the App the permission of album, location and WLAN & cellular data. otherwise the Peztio app won’t work for your cellphone.

If the Peztio app doesn’t work or have bugs. please search “Dvr-N3” on App Store or Google Play and download it as the alternative app to have a try.

Connect the WiFi
  1. Spark the ignition of your car to turn on the camera
  2. The Wifi transmitter will activate as the camera power on, you don’t need to take any operation to turn on the camera’s Wifi.

a. Select camera WIFI and connect WiFi name: PeztioQ2** Password: 12345678 Pcztio02_15 12==1
b. Wait for the phone to connect properly
c. Once the connection is complete, the screen shows ” Camera is Connected

CAUTION

  • If the live video shows nothing after you access the dashcam’s WIFI, please disable the “Peztio” cellular data of your cellphone. For Latest iOS System: Setting—>Peztio—>Click “Wireless Data” —>Select “WLAN” . For Older iOS System: Setting—>Peztio—>Disable the “Cellular Data”.
  • If the issue stills after turning off the cellular data, please forget the WIFI and reconnect it.

Camera Settings

Video Setting (All operations can only be set in Peztio app)

Speaker Volume

Default setting : Middle Enable or disable the device’s sound effects.

Sound Recording

Default setting: On
Allows you to enable or disable audio recording with your videos. You may choose to record audio with video or turn off the microphone so all recorded videos will be muted.

Photo Solution

Default setting: 1.2M Set the pixel resolution for captured images. Higher resolution images are more detailed, but take up more space on the memory card.

Video Quality

Default setting: 1440P 30fps Set the video recording resolution.

Loop Record Options

Default setting: 1 Minute Video will be continually recorded in segments(1/2/3mins). When the storage limit is reached on the memory card, new recordings will automatically overwrite the oldest recordings.

Video Time Option

Default setting: Time and Logo Stamp the Time and Logo to the bottom of your videos. Note that the Time and Logo stamp cannot be removed from videos if this feature was enabled at the time of recording.

  • The timestamp is in sync with your mobile phone.

Exposure Compensation

Default setting: +0.0 Manually adjust the camera’s exposure value to brighten or darken recordings as your preference

Advanced Setting

Collision Sensing Default setting: Low If a change in gravitational forces is detected, such as in the event of a vehicular accident, the g-sensor will signal to the camera, and an automatic file lock will be placed on the locked video, preserving your most crucial footage.

Parking Mode (Hardwire Kit Required, not include in the package, need purchase separately)

Parking Monitor
Default setting: Off Connect the dash cam to the hard wire kit to activate the parking monitor function. Please kindly email us to get a mini USB hardwire kit (support@galphi.com).

Time-lapse Recording Time (available only when Parking Monitor on) Default setting: Off Please manually select 12 or 24 hours when using the parking monitor, otherwise, Q2 will turn off after you shut off the car and parking monitor will not work. *** WiFi will not appear on cellphone list when Time-laspe recoding is turned on.

Low FPS Record Rate (available only when Parking Monitor and Time-lapse Recording Time on) Default setting: lfps Choose the suitable frame rate the run the time-lapse recording function, decrease the fps of the parking mode video to reduce the video size and save the space of your SD card.

Change your WiFi name here.

Default WiFi Password : 12345678 Change your WiFi name here. Password only support 8-22 digits, letters and common character combinations.

**If you forget your Wifi password, please long press the dash cam button i® for about 10 seconds and the WiFi password will be restored to the default password: 12345678.

Format SD Card ***Before formatting your memory card, always remember to make backup copies of all important data stored on the device.

Reset Recover all the setting to original settings. Please confirm whether to perform this operation.
